I used to believe absolutely in a christian god and heaven and so on, since that's how I was brought up, but as I got older, I started finding holes and inconsitencies in that belief-set, and became a pretty firm atheist by the time I was 9 or so.
My attitude to believers varies depending on the person. Some can be incredibly arrogant and judgemental, some are away in lala land with their wishful thinking, some haven't really given any thought to their beliefs and just follow the majority, and often have glaring inconsitencies in their beliefs that you could drive a truck through, but which they're completely blind to, some have very well thought out, internally consistent beliefs that nonetheless completely fail to find common ground with my own understanding of reality, some swear they can do magic, but that it would be an insult to the divine to test their abilities under controlled conditions and so on. There's too much variety to have a single attitude to believers in general. Some I'm fine with, others I want to slap some sense into.

I've never tried quinoa milk; just the seed itself, and I don't remember it having much flavour, though in a nice way.
Soy is rather an open question. It's a bean that requires a lot of processing before it's edible, which isn't a good sign. Also, despite all the claims of 'Japanese people eat lots of soy and live forever', they don't actually eat much soy (traditionally, anyway); just the few grams you get in soy sauce, not the big platefuls of textured soy protien that are marketed to westerners. You mentioned that it gives you a lot of wind, so you're obviously struggling to digest it, and with concerns over aluminium (from the manufacturing process; for some bizarre reason it seems they didn't get the memo on not using aluminium pots to process acidic mixtures in), and high phytoestrogen levels (of unknown pharmacalogical effect), I'd generally stay away from it.

It's a hobby; it would be nice if I found a way to make some money from it, but I do it because I find it interesting. So far, I don't think I've created anything that other people would find interesting or useful enough to give me money for; I'm not skilled or experienced when it comes to programming, and generally just muddle along, gradually learning as I go.

You could do a PGdip or something on those lines. Anyway, I thought the 2nd degree funding still existed for disabled students. I've always learned more effectively when pursuing things on my own than when following a curriculum. I tend to get stressed and anxious about assignments and exams, and spend more time worrying than studying, which isn't an issue if I'm taking things at my own pace and don't have any obligations. It would also cost significant sums of money for a university-level course, relative to my income. I already have a B.Sc in geography, so I don't qualify for much in the way of financial aid (and the aid I got for my first degree was all in the form of student loans that I still owe).

Here's the latest version of the project I'm working on. It's not pretty, it doesn't have a user interface, it's buggy and it doesn't do anything particularly interesting, but I've set it up to run a simple demo where it finds solutions to a range of mathematical problems that I've coded into it. It doesn't actually tell you what the solutions are; it just gives an overview of the average fitness of individuals in the population, and of how large and varied the genomes are over time, but it demonstrates that it works, and if you look through the source code, you might get an idea of what's going on behind the scenes. The compiled binary is windows-only, but the source should compile on linux.Looks pretty impressive so far. How long did it take to make?

The weather's poor, the streets are filthy and there's a significant subculture of human vermin, but on the whole it seems a reasonable place to live. I've not traveled much outside of Scotland, so I don't have much to compare it to.
