Lots of people have written the same report. Is it true or false?

Totally different situation. Ivanka's not a Clinton.
Jeeze, she's not out there killing people and running child sex rings out of pizza parlors.

No panic. She offered her explanation.
"She didn't know that was wrong."
...she played the blonde card. :lol1:
-
Well, if she didn't know it was wrong, then it must be all right.
-
I am assuming that to try to make her and Hillary's email behaviour as being in so.even way equivalent....
Ivanka sent classified info, deleted 30000 emails, bleach bit her server and then went to town on her devices with a hammer.
If not, get a more honest comparison.

True enough. The big story here really is STUPID. And it's not just Ivanka.
It wouldn't be much - just a wee bit less than what all those investigations were able to actually dig up on Killary.
But, it would be after this CiC made those emails a rallying cry. Just as he made Obombem's birth certificate into one.
And, more recently, this horde of prospective wetbacks, for which the military was dispatched to go twiddle its thumbs.
Eventually, I'd think even you would get sick of the (Fox) boy who cried wolf.

The birther things was not as bad as his anti-Vax views but it was pretty bad

What I can't tell is the extent to which he believes these.
I used to think he was smarter than this, but I think in his senility, he actually
manages to convince himself.

Trump is a textbook narcissist.
My experience of narcissists and sociopaths has tended to be that, for them, the truth is whatever it suits them for the truth to be at that point in time. Trump would likely pass a lie detector test while repeating some of the bald-faced lies he has decided were true because they suit him to be true.
-
Trump is also a textbook idiot.
-
The big problem with attempting to render anything idiot-proof; is that sooner, rather than later, one is virtually guaranteed to find that the world will furnish a more effective, more determined, updated version of idiot.

Hah :P

Trump's daughter my be named 'Ivanka'
HE, however, is simply, a word that rhymes with 'Ivanka', if spoken as english idiom by one with a thick russian accent....
-
Can't really blame him for then.
But now...well, she's gotten too old.
-
Why can't we blame him? it's Trump, we can blame him for pretty much everything from the holocaust to the fratricide of Cain to the last stinking great fart I cut loose.
Who is going to argue, after all. Other than Trump. And he doesn't count as a 'who' at all, really. More of an inconvenient 'what' or an 'it'
A special kind of it, perhaps, I'd grant Trump that. a 'sh-it'.
He looks like a sunburnt teratoma with limb-shaped metastases. Face like an inverted cataloupe melon which has been liberally dipped in faecal matter and launched into the air to a racking click kind of noise followed by a shout of 'PULL!'....
-
The funny thing is Trump never thought he was going to win the presidency, he was gonna make Trump TV and make millions.
Once the special council is done with him, he is gonna have to resign in shame. Literally everybody around him is in jail, or is pleading w/ deals.
YOU telling me his lawyer is crooked? And not Donald? lmao
-
I think any lawyer who works for him for long will have to become a crook.
-
Not sure that can be said of all lawyers, but I believe that such activity goes hand in hand with great wealth, right?

Either way, BY ALL MEANS or any available to you, have some wine, tonight.
Then once the wine is set in well, maybe try some popcorn.

Who are the real racists?
-
The white folk who buy black slaves?
-
Nope, it was those who decided that those black slaves were not equal to a full person.
Having slaves is one thing (well, a bad thing) but to justify your need for profit and THINGS by trying to make your slaves part livestock, and not fully human goes too far, in my book.
Be as honest as the Greeks, Egyptians and Romans. Yeah fucking Jews were slaves, but they still need accommodations to grow children, be sheltered, fed and watered well and guess what - YOUR children will have even more slaves.

Who are the real racists?
The people that support the Orange toddler. Or lets refine that a bit, some people that support him.
On a side note hate crimes have gone way up since this tard has been in office. When you have a president refer to African countries as "Shithole countries" there is a little bit of old style Colonialism as well

The only justification for black slavery was that view however. Unlike ancient times, general slavery
was not considered acceptable.
That said, similar views of others, not justifiable as so far down as blacks, were held toward other ethnic groupings
and even the poor. They just were quite seen as such animals to be actually owned.

Except Arabs who bought black slaves (even more that Europeans did), they castrated the bucks as soon as they bought them, then they killed any babies that the women had.
That's why the middle east doesn have any black slave descendants today.

If you support a racist, then you're a racist yourself. They don't all see this, but a significant portion of racists are stupid as well.

If you support a racist, then you're a racist yourself. They don't all see this, but a significant portion of racists are stupid as well.
This only applies if racism can be seen as the greatest evil of all - and one which is greater than
the collective sum of all other evils.
Because, every choice of support or opposition must be weighed in its context. If a racist held the cure to
a disease which would slowly rot the internals out of every child, I think the vast majority of humans -
racist or no - would support him in propagating that cure, even if it meant tangentially allowing racist
views to become more accepted.

Call him racist if you like, but saying he is so does not make it so.
I have pointed out many behaviours and interactions that run counter to behaviour that a racist would do AND time and time again smoking gun proof of him racism can be easily shown as him not being PC or tactful or padding an idea'S context very well....or Progressives hysteria
-
Read the part where I say "they don't all see this..."
-
Accusing people of racism rarely gets anyone anywhere.
Almost nobody who is a racist is actually aware that they are a racist. We (humans) absorb these attitudes and behaviours before we are old enough to realize that prejudice exists.
Trump thinks he is a man who respects women and people of all races.

Someone has been drinking the Intersectional "unconscious bias" bullshit.
The white trash rednecks I grew up with in the Midwest were fully aware that they were racists and were quite proud of it.
It doesn't take a genius to realize when you're stereotyping based only on skin color.
I'm not a racist, but I can't stand niggers, gooks, spics....
:lol1:
I'm not racist but I'm definitely a culture-alist (why doesn't English have a word for this?)
When you follow MLK's credo of "judge people by the content of their character and not the color of their skin", what you find is that content of character tends to follow micro-cultures.
I didn't get along with the culture that existed in small town Nebraska, that was more of a primitive honor culture like what you'd find in the middle east.
On the other hand, I had no problem getting along with the middle class black kids I grew up with in California, who were often fellow Air Force brats.
-
I'm not a racist but.
Cal said it ironically. Stupid racists with their heads up their own arses say it unironically.

^^^ Every time you say "racist", what you really mean is "heretic". ::)

You were really ugly about me be Mexican when you misread a post of mine years ago. I have had such unfortunate encounter with the Social Justice crowd who gleefully post racial slurs of people of color (https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/07/03/george-takei-clarence-thomas-clown-in-blackface_n_7719110.html) who don't have opinions their socially conditioned opinions align with. I've been called slurs myself by them just for suggesting that the people they demonize may not be racist. Social Justice is very hypocritical, self-serving and biased. They care nothing about the very people they claim to defend. They just want to line their pockets with money. They have cognitive dissonance which causes them to go into mass hysteria whenever someone posts another sensationalized article aimed at causing social unrest.

I am too. But, I'm not sure it's something to be proud of.
It feels driven of the very kind of fears that purely racial ones are, in many cases.
ON the other hand, some cultures have exceedingly hostile behavior - so it can't be completely discarded as an idea.

I am racist.
I do not like Asians. My country has fought three wars against them in recent history. This is something I have had to fight against within myself in order to make Asian people in my acquaintance into "friends."
There it is. As honest as I can be.
One of my best "friends" when I still worked at the big box store was a Viet Namese immigrant. I gave him no quarter at first. Later came to realize that he is a great guy, family and all.
This racism thing is something I continue to fight.

Does the quote on the News Slave Box of your funny rant ring a bell? You said my vagina looked like a hungry sewer rat in refried beans. You haven’t exactly been “not racist” on this forum. You seem to be taking the reaction formation tactic to distract from your own flaws. Not all Trump supporters are racist just like not all a Democrats are non racist. How does me saying your vagina looking like a hungry sewer rat in beans make me a racist? Because you're Mexican? That's a bit of a stretch. And a lot of wishful thinking. my own flaws? Well thank you for pointing them out. But I assure you they're no flaws, If you go back and read I never said all Trump supporters were racist. I said some were, so there's that. Also I know Abraham Lincoln was president when slavery was abolished. I never said he wasn't
I think what's going on here is you're assuming way too much and want to argue based on your assumptions

You seem to be taking the reaction formation tactic to distract from your own flaws. Not all Trump supporters are racist just like not all a Democrats are non racist. Fun fact: it was the Republican Party that abolished slavery. Abraham Lincoln was a Republican.
I’m not saying you’re racist. You’ve grown a lot since then. I’m just saying you used to say the n word a lot and complain about minorities. You aren’t exactly spotless in that particular area and SJWs are notorious for taking people through the coals. One apology for anything is never enough. To make things worse they are very racist themselves. And they lie about their true motives. If you say you’re not an SJW I believe you. You used some of their talking points which reminded me of them.
-
Well I yeah. I had Spazzy moments in the past, I'm sure I said a lot of N words.
I don't like sjws, I think it's ok to have an opinion but not everything is racist, and not every social transaction needs to be outlawed. It goes way to far in most cases, but the point I was trying to make is when the president get on Twitter, or in front of a microphone and says clearly racist things and or is apologetic twords their cause I think that is a problem, not only a human one but for god sakes the man is president of the United States.
No class, no dignity. And can't even form a complete sentence ffs
When all of this is said and done I hope all Donald Trump supporters hide in shame. Once this man is not in office anymore he's going to the pen
-
I'm still a registered Democrat, but dislike both parties and see no point in voting anymore. I'm very angry with the lies and corruption.
-
I'm an Independent, I used to lean Libertarian but we need a basic government. I totally understand hating the corruption, I think most people are. I think a lot of people are tired of this two party system, and money in politics

Trump is also a textbook idiot.
Which is how he has made billions and become President, BECAUSE he is a Textbook Idiot. Best explanation ever.
He's stupid at things which actually involve social cohesion and ethical or legal principles. In other words, he's stupid at leadership. He's not a good manager either. He's just really good at finding power and wielding it stupidly.
He learned how not to pay for things from his father, and learned it well, but also has enough privilege to screw up and still be esteemed. He will throw folks under the bus to not pay for things. A terrible friend to have. If he is intelligent, he has no real reason to exercise it when he knows that if he hankers after power enough, people let him have it. His business, and government, and leadership smarts are actually quite dumb, but he knows how to get populist support in a post-reality tv society. Hence why he uses social media to rile folks up, because if everyone is focused on his personality and drama, he can get his ego fix, and others around him can get away with policies and actions that are really...obtuse.
It's not innovative what he does, but it works. Unfortunately, the price for people not being aware enough to actually examine what a person is doing (not just get starry eyed with another person's nerve and seemingly great status), is a high one to pay. And us being such an influential country, this lack of awareness is a truly shitty canary.
But I am hopeful. A mark of a dedicated leader (among other things) is that even when they lose, they continue what they said they would do, without the clout and power they would have, had they won. Bernie Sanders is continuing his work and movement, and several folks who ran with super progressive styles, including the way they collected donations and campaigned ethically, are now elected to congress. That would never have happened had Hillary won and things settled back to status quo. But now, several "glass ceilings" have been shattered at once, and I find that really lovely.
Trump is like a Gorilla who went into a bigger jungle and pounded his chest.... and in response, several thousand other pounded theirs. He cannot contend with them all, and now that they are roused, even when he's gone, they will still step up to the plate. He's riled up more than his base, and its lovely in a chaotic and tragic way.
That's just what I think.

Nope. When you have a president say: "There are fine people on both sides" reguarding Charlottesville
That's basically a true statement. Neither group was homogeneous, those on the right spanned from mainstream conservatives to white supremacists. Those on the left spanned from mainstream liberals to hardcore Marxist militia types (ANTIFA and Redneck Revolt)
It is a FACT that there were good and bad people on both sides.
you not only are a racist, you're trying to give the racists a platform and make it ok for being a racist.
This is social justice rhetoric right here. Racists have a right to exist and they have a right to get permits to hold public rallies.
Whatever happened to the principled stance of the ACLU to defend the right of Nazi and Klan groups to march in public, in a court of law??
Liberals used to be the biggest defenders of free speech, now they are the biggest advocates of censorship. :-\
-
Well I yeah. I had Spazzy moments in the past, I'm sure I said a lot of N words.
Don't blame it on spazzing. Will have to agree with the assessment of viewing you as highly bigoted in he past. Didn't mind too much though because you seemed direct about it, and didn't make excuses about it like spazzing. Something change your mind?
-
Here's why my opinion doesn't matter as much as yours.
I'm a dude on the internet, who is not president. On a website that prides itself on no or few rules
Don't try to hold my feet to the fire. I have no bully pulpit, I have no following, no political faction and absolutely no executive order protection or power. The President does, his words matter and as a voter, I can say whatever I want.
Yes I said racist things. Mostly to get a reaction out of people, and to verbally combat my enemies but in real life I'm not a racist. I mean, ya. Again this is the internet, words on a screen and it isn't real life come to mind
That is the difference. Of course racists can exist, of course they can hold rallies. My point is the president of the United States should not give credence to that and he does. The office is above that or at least should be.
Free speech isn't free, especially if it is in bad taste. Social norms, societal norms, decency have no room for that. Times change, what happened in the past probably won't be the same in the future. Should it be so? Maybe. But when you're trying to sway everybody in society to be decent and not a scum bag I guess you are just gonna have leave the white hoods and nooses at home. Where you have privacy
-

One of the first interactions I recall ever having with you was racially charged. Can't remember exactly what is was, but do remember you made a big impression on me, because you basically said you didn't care what I or anyone else had to say because your views were based on your experiences. You made me stop to think about what it means for a white person whose only experience with minorities is some dirty, lazy, welfare sucking, addict, criminal, or whatever. Could respect that, because a lot of racism is learned, but if someone learns it from minorities, then I get it. That was ten years ago and you've never given me reason to doubt it. Now you're saying you were only a spazzy troll. Have no reason to disbelieve the spazzy troll answer after believing differently all these years, but will say I think I liked you better as a bigot.
-
I couldn't agree more DFG.
The problem with voting, is that no matter who you vote for, the politicians always get in.
When what both the UK and the US need, is an autocratic, autistic, leader. Someone logical, with an actual brain connected to their spinal cord, and who do not think either with their spinal column alone, or it, combined with whatever manner of genitalia they were born with.
Although not to say non-functional. Although compared to trump, my genitalia could most certainly do a better job of ruling the country unassisted, save by my massive cock, with which to piss all over trump, on his way to being deported. Deported where?
Wherever the worst pack of bastards of an enemy nation happens to be at the time, because nobody else could possibly deserve HIM. Well, not counting rapists, shaggers of toddlers, and the kind of redneck hick pervert who is equally satisfied with his fingers up his sister, or one of his cattle, sheep, pigs or his knob up the tailpipe of the car. But one can't actually declare WAR against 'the paedophiles' 'the rapists' 'the rednecks'
At least not in a sense that you send the army in and you start calling in air-strikes.
Could always leave some land mines around dark alleys behind dive bars, and around the swings on kiddie's playparks, but they don't really have enough of a permanent territory to install Trump as a governor.
Well, he might manage it if he were installed as a puppet figurehead in charge of the dumpster out back of a dive bar. Collecting taxes in the form of dropped loose change by drunken patrons and strippers buggering off home after a night's work pole dancing and whoring.
It'd suit him just fine.
Or better yet, just install him on one of the antipersonnel mines :autism:t
RIGHT on top. So on top that it proceeds to blow his arse through the top of his head and leave him looking as though he hung himself, with his intestines wrapped round the short, fat stubby orange thing that pokes out the bottom of the bloated, rancid, shit-filled teratoma mounted atop his shoulders.
Aside from (possibly) welfare-sucking (not counting from people who truly need it) then jack just described Trump pretty well .
Even if you did forget 'a humongous pus-bloated scrotal cancer with stubby, fat, liver-failure-orange arms and legs sticking out of the upper and lower ends respectively.
I'd call him a cunt. But unfortunately he is utterly lacking in either the warmth, the depth, or the conceivable use to the human species.
And with all the charm, charisma and sex appeal; of a raging child molester in a paediatric oncology ward. If it had walls painted exclusively with modern art rendered in dog muck.
A fulminant, demagogic compulsive masturbator, with the morals of a knifepoint rapist who preys on pensioners, the standards of a crack whore with end-stage gonorrhea caught through acts of beastiality, and the complexion of a coagulation of cholera-afflicted human droppings, more or less evaporated down to a thick pasty consistency, then splattered all over a victim of end-stage liver failure who previously, counted Proteus syndrome as his primary non-faggotry-related ailment.
-
Every time I see this topic I think about getting Trump a vasectomy, but it's too late.
-
but will say I think I liked you better as a bigot.
Welp, I am sure I can be persuaded again to bring out the nasty~ :trump:
Maybe it old age. I've seen some shit, just tired, lazy and Boring now I guess. :trollskull:
-
That is the difference. Of course racists can exist, of course they can hold rallies. My point is the president of the United States should not give credence to that and he does. The office is above that or at least should be.
I hear this a lot and I don't get it. Trump has said many things that are crass, poorly worded and un-PC but I've never heard him say anything overtly racist or condoning racism. Maybe people are just interpreting what he says in an uncharitable manner.
There's so much wrong with this. Popular speech doesn't need 1st Amendment type protections, it's the unpopular, indecent and bad taste speech that needs to be protected. This is a slippery slope. Who gets to decide what speech is in bad taste and indecent? Who gets to decide what penalties there will be for improper speech? Who gets to enforce it? We already see Silicon Valley tech giants engaging in Orwellian censorship of wrongthinkers and the effect it's having on society is chilling. Soon, it may be illegal in Europe to speak out against mass immigration. Where do you stop with the censorship once you start doing it?? Where does it end??
As far as the Klan goes, I prefer to have them out in the open so people can see just how small their numbers truly are (only about 5K left according to the SPLC) and to hear them in their own words so they can be denounced as idiots.
-
Racists can gather, hold rallies etc. So I don't know why you think they can't
If you're talking about why they can't use someone else's platform, IE: social media, brick and mortar businesses etc. Well there is no free speech there, because you are only guaranteed free speech involving your government. Not businesses
So if a racist want to post racist shit on Twitter and they get the ban hammer that isn't a violation of free speech
Nobody in their right mind thinks Donald Trump is getting unfair play or perhaps reading him wrong. I mean really? It's quite evident what hes saying. I'm tired of people saying well, he speaks his mind! Give me a break. He's a vulgar nitwit with half a brain, if Obama was doing, saying any of this they'd already be impeaching his ass. Guaranteed
-
Read the part where I say "they don't all see this..."
Classic gaslighting right there. ::)
-
Racists can gather, hold rallies etc. So I don't know why you think they can't
I didn't say they couldn't, I was just responding to your comments which I'm guessing were your own personal opinion.
If you're talking about why they can't use someone else's platform, IE: social media, brick and mortar businesses etc. Well there is no free speech there, because you are only guaranteed free speech involving your government. Not businesses
Well, that's certainly true but given the fact that many people now have been deplatformed by multiple sites on the same day without any warning, it does raise the possibility they're violating anti-trust laws. Also, given the size of these tech giants and the central role they play in public communication, it's possible that the government may come down on them soon and regulate them as public utilities. If that happens, then something like 1st amendment protections would exist on these platforms.
So if a racist want to post racist shit on Twitter and they get the ban hammer that isn't a violation of free speech
True but Twitter is banning people for the dumbest of reasons nowadays. Did you hear about the feminist who got banned for saying that men aren't women??
Nobody in their right mind thinks Donald Trump is getting unfair play or perhaps reading him wrong.
You must not watch the non-stop Trump bashing on MSNBC then.
I mean really? It's quite evident what hes saying. I'm tired of people saying well, he speaks his mind! Give me a break. He's a vulgar nitwit with half a brain, if Obama was doing, saying any of this they'd already be impeaching his ass. Guaranteed
Yes, he's a vulgar nitwit but sometimes it's deliberate, he's trolling to get people flustered so they overreact. It's one of his go-to tactics.
-
Worrying about why racist don't get fair play on social media is pretty silly or why some business ban people? With that line of thinking you would also have to defend a child molester the right to say and ultimately diddle a kid online because of free speech? That's why you're wrong. Want free speech for some, you got to have them for ALL groups. No matter how unsavory. That's the real slippery slope, not whats going on now
YOU can have all the free speech you want. It's called the privacy of your own home
Also, more regulations and government in business is really an awful way to do business. No thanks
But besides all that society I think is pretty fair at determining who and who does not get the right to be heard. Don't like it? Start your own platform, but remember do not discrimate. Let the paedophiles in
So we have a Troll as President? Well gee man. Isn't that just the epitome of what we all want?
Like I said give me a break

Well...3 years in prison for Trump's "fixer", Michael Cohen.
Reports are that Trump never left his residence today while they served up the sentence.
-
:lol1:
Unless there is a serious violation come to light, in which he will resign and have mike pence pardon him Trump will probably finish out his two years and hopefully doesnt get re-elected. (if he does I have lost all faith in our country) I suspect he will be charged out of office and face the real possibility of jail time.
The good news is Mike pence or anyone who is president will not be able to pardon him for state crimes, and the SDNY has stuff on him, if not already.. he is Individual 1 so hes already implicated in a crime, and then we don't have what Robert Mueller has at this point.
Donald is eyeballs deep in shit. Only way at this point for him not to face justice is to get re-elected for another term
-
Article I, Section 3 of the Constitution: “Judgment in cases of impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust or profit under the United States.”
So, the idea that Vice President Pence could pardon an impeached President Trump, appoint him as his VP and resign in order to restore status quo is not possible.
Remember Ford pardoned Nixon, but it happened before any indictments before a Grand Jury. Impeachment was not yet passed through Congress.
They wanted to impeach Clinton, but that got so fucked up, that before it was all over getting a blow job is not even mentionable, but sexual harassment is a HUGE crime, oral sex is not really sex and we still do not know what the "meaning of is is."
-

That is only a part of the sentence. He also has to pay over a million dollars in restitution and pay an outright fine of five hundred thousand dollars.
-
I wasn't working with the idea of Trump being impeached, rather him resigning 10 minutes before his shift ends, and Having President Pence pardon him. You can be pardoned for future crimes not yet convicted of, federally speaking.
No Donald Trumps problem is a state one, that's where he is in trouble. So even if Pence pardons him the state can still bring charges that he cannot run from
-
And Trump is such a slime ball I could totally see him doing something like that
-
If the country has a problem with it, they can impeach Pence for doing so.
Depending on the scope of the pardon (I can't see it extending to all prior dealings), it is unlikely
that the cheeto's getting out of this free.
And THAT is why I don't know that impeachment (or even normal election results) are absolutely
going to be the determinant here. It all depends on how much he and supporting media can rouse
his support. 30% ain't enough to win an election, but it COULD win other ways.
-

The brevity's refreshing.
I feared the content might have suffered, but I don't think so. It makes about as much sense as usual.

I guess you still don't see it? You admitted as much re Trump, a few posts back.

Oh yes. He knows he is going down. The question is only when.
And, I assume, he's bound to be wondering about the why. So many things to choose from.

I have no way of knowing whether all of that is true or not, the guy could have made it all up of course. But it sure as heck sounds like the truth and I feel a bit guilty for finding it amusing.
-
Oh yes. He knows he is going down. The question is only when.
Indeed. Today's news is that Paul Manafort was in talks with Donny while in prison on how to discredit the FBI, Mueller and the investigation.
I mean you just can not make this stuff up. Ol Donald is in some serious shit,

If anyone had suggested something like this in a Hollywood spec script four years ago, the producers would have thrown it out laughing. Get real, man, you need to have some sort of base in reality in a script!
It's great entertainment value, though. Who needs sitcoms when there is Trump and Theresa May's sinking Brexit deal.
-
Someone needs to drag this tosser out of office, strap him to a chair, before using a dremel saw to carefully cut off the top of his skull.
Then reach in there with a pair of gloved hands, carefully separate the hemispheres of his brain, before defaecating in between them. Then on with the top of his skull, a bit of epoxy resin, and leave him. To slowly degenerate ever more severely, inexorably, until he is rolling around on the floor, twitching, screaming, vomiting, shitting and pissing all over himself, convulsing while his brain liquefies into a necrotic, atrophied slurry.
-
I have huge problem with "carefully cut."
-
Why? Would need to be, before adding the filling, be it a turd, caustic soda, flesh eating ants....so it can be glued or screwed back into place, to prevent him committing suicide by flicking his head forwards and throwing his brain out of it's place.
I wouldn't want it to end too quickly for him.

The biggest problem I see is that we do not yet have a nickname for this guy.
We have had Tricky Dick, Slick Willie, The Gipper or The Teflon President, Papa Bush, Dubya, 45, the 45 (is that calling for an assassination again?). Even going back a bit "Teddy" and they invented a fucking bear toy to signify this.
We really need to have an all encompassing nickname. Orange boy does not call it all out. We need a final name.
Then we can begin.
Do Brits nickname their political idiots?

It is simple mechanics. If you are doing what you plan, there is no need to be careful when sawing through a skull.

Thing is he already has a nickname, The Donald. Have trouble seeing anything else really sticking like that on a large scale. He's The Donald and that probably wont change. Though here's a huge list of choices. https://www.findnicknames.com/nicknames-for-donald-trump/

Nope. It's the best. Mainly because of how it abbreviates.
And it needs to catch on.
I only think the PC crowd is worried about how other cheeto-americans might feel.
-
I don't understand why we are still saying he is in deep shit, or he'll be going down.
I've been troubled that this hasn't already happened. Obviously if there was nothing to investigate, the investigation would be dropped- but it hasn't, and there is something there. So why is it taking so long? Perhaps our government is more infiltrated than anyone thought (by Russians, and who knows what else). Perhaps the investigation has uncovered something so important, that taking Big D down is of secondary concern.
:hide: :tinfoil:
-
The problem is that there's enough publically out there to have brought down previous presidents.
Just shit he's said on tape. The fact that that's not enough to motivate Congress to move against
him is a sign of just how bloody awful it's all going to have to be.
Which is weird. He's not popular like Reagan was - but he might be the first president to have
a real propaganda arm.

From what I understand you can't indict a sitting president, you have to impeach them...and right now he has the majority in the house and the senate...but that will change in January. He still may very well finish out his term and only then be charged.
The recent ruling in the case against the Trump Foundation that may have been overlooked by many after the recent drama with Cohen & Flynn opens another door enabling him to be charged on a state level for his misuse of charitable funds.
It's all looking like a big game of dominos right now.
My personal favorite is "Mango Mussolini" BTW. :zoinks:
-
...he might be the first president to have a real propaganda arm.
Other presidents have utilised propaganda quite effectively. Trump is probably the first president, though, to have a former superpower as his personal propaganda arm.
**edit: Although, if claims about Putin's new hypersonic missiles are anywhere near accurate, calling Russia a "former" superpower might be a bit hasty....

My personal favorite is "Mango Mussolini" BTW. :zoinks:
That sounds like a mixed drink.

I’m suddenly remembering the movie Young Frankenstein when Igor mistakenly drops the normal brain of a human and replaces it with the brain of a deranged gorilla and covers up for it by saying her name was Abby Normal.

I've heard "Cheeto In Chief" a few times. I like that.
I have heard versions of such on line, mainly from Calandale, here.
I think it is funny, but I also think we can do better.
Nope. It's the best. Mainly because of how it abbreviates.
And it needs to catch on.
I only think the PC crowd is worried about how other cheeto-americans might feel.
What's special about how it abbreviates?
google it

If anyone had suggested something like this in a Hollywood spec script four years ago, the producers would have thrown it out laughing. Get real, man, you need to have some sort of base in reality in a script!
It's great entertainment value, though. Who needs sitcoms when there is Trump and Theresa May's sinking Brexit deal.
In this case? "Cunt".

I think they're simply taking the time they need.

Never a dull moment in the Trump administration. :P

If the problem is being unable to indict a sitting president, shoot him in the kneecaps and kick him out of the chair.
Problem solved, he isn't sitting. Or cut his arse cheeks off. Again, problem solved.
Or seeing as how america has no problem kidnapping citizens of soverign countries, and flying them off to secret torture facilities, just subject him to the same extraordinary rendition procedure they've been using on others, fly him over syria, and kick him out of the chopper. Preferably without a parachute.
-
Yeah. That will strengthen the democratic institutions.

Stock market is doing stupid shit, in response to the stupid shit.

You can fix stupid, but it requires taking away free will. Not a safe road to tread on.

Stock market is doing stupid shit, in response to the stupid shit.
I hope your investments are well diversified. Have you noticed that the top forty or more percent of losses are in the top ten most invested stocks?
I check my stock portfolio every other day or so lately, not to be a bitch, but to assuage my concerns that my investment strategist is smart and doing a good job for me. So far he is. He avoided binding me with those top stocks like Apple or banking.
I mean, I am at end game here. What I have is small, but it is all I have. Being retired, it is time for my previous work to work for me.
I have a nice home, almost paid off with enough in short term investments to pay it off if anything bad happens. A few other minor interests, but then I am done.
This turn down of the market has not hurt me at all, yet. The Fed wanting to raise interests rates is a bad thing for me though. It is going to happen soon.
Only my metal mining reserves will save me from this.

The market was bloated to begin with. Based upon unreasonable assumptions.
It was in no position to sustain the kind of shocks that having a fried snack in charge.
Especially when that snack's in Putin's lap. Who'd want to eat that?
-
Agreed. The market was due for a correction.
-
Standard irrational exuberance that comes from deregulation.
But, it didn't have to hit so hard.
Even bonds suffered.
-
The market was certainly due for a correction but it didn't have to be in this way. The moron in chief doesn't understand (or doesn't care) that what a president does will have consequences.
-
My dear DFG, whilst your heart IMO is in the right place there, and I praise your insight into such being a dangerous road to tread upon. It is indeed. And not only dangerous, but inherently sick, fucked up and wrong. And it'll only get sicker and more fucked up over time.
Just look at the US federal govt. Sick fucks, forever tightening the fetters and the noose, nanometer by nanometer, hoping people will be too stupid and/or too docile and well-conditioned into believing that the vote will fix all. Or fix anything. Other than legitimize the latest bastard to suck the blood of the people into the oval office. Like an overgrown tick. Uggh...vile little creatures. But sneaking the bindings ever tighter and more unwholesome and unjust, bit by bit by tiny bit, so that people don't notice easily, the individual steps, by which the stranglehold upon freedom and liberty is progressively, exponentially ratcheted up ever tighter.
One cannot fix stupid that way DFG hun, because to take the free will, cannot but require overseers to force this on those who, understandably and justifiably, will demand their free will be left the hell alone, and that those seeking to deprive us of it, can go get fucked, drink bleach and die.
Even if such would succeed, and they insinuate themselves like the noxious parasites they are, government filth cannot be expected to FIX stupid. To do that would require an overseeing force directed against the citizenry, that is not inherently stupid and corrupt in and of itself. Which governments are. Politicians make up governments. Politicians are greedy, venial, corrupt, lying, oleaginous, platitude-spouting, two-faced, fork-tongued greasy-pole-climbing backstabbers and in general, a more repugnant, filthy nest of haploid, cretinous shiteating vipers than one could ever hope never to meet.
Not material for a purpose requiring perfection, that is for damn sure. Hell they can't even get trains to run on time because there were the wrong sort of leaves on the tracks, or the snow fall was composed of the wrong kind of snow.
(Correct me if I am mistaken, but I was under the distinct influence, that on this planet, snow, inherently referred to frozen H2O in a dispersed form? various textures, but all of it dihydrogen monoxide cooled to, or below 0 degrees centigrade. And that the weight of and shape of the wheels of a moving train would squash it flat no matter what fancy shapes the snow crystals take and the friction melt them into ice.
What next? sorry....we have the wrong type of moisture making the tracks the incorrect kind of wet?)
And this, is up to 1/3 services. Cancelled due to bollocks like the wrong kind of leaves fallen on the line. ONE in THREE times, people having to ring their employer and plead for their job, because they cannot get to work, as the train decided not to run on some pathetic, limp-wristed excuse. Or simply couldn't be fucked turning up at all.
One in three fucking train services, thats appalling. And a massive number. So many people must have lost their jobs due to such governmental incompetence and service/govt both's sheer laziness. Dumb as a dog shit ice cream cone with gravel and ground glass sprinkles on top.

Now he wants to fire the Fed chief. I do not know that he can do that.
Pretty sure that entity is a separate thing and he has no control over it. I think that was the original point in creating this at first.
-

That is why jumping into silver, gold, copper, zinc, palladium, cobalt or iron makes sense. Even elements which are considered junk from other mining operations like molybdenum. These are all elements needed to build computers, cell phones, solar panels, fancy displays or even modern cars. Hard to go wrong.
It is a many eggs, even more baskets thing.

I wish I could...but then I get to thinking about the ethics of the mining companies and I feel guilty.
Fun fact, (I don't have the citation because it is something I discovered when researching good investments long ago), whenever there are recessions, the value of gold stock is usually unaffected, or actually increases. Mainly because once things begin failing, people fall back on stocks that have been most stable over the decades. Gold is one, and I would guess the others are pretty similar.
I wish I knew what companies were working for the global good of humanity and the world, then I would invest that-a-ways. :/
(P.s. just because I feel guilty doesn't mean I think other should too. Its just one of the things I struggle with. In stocks, in education, in careers. OGD---- obsessive guiltiness disorder. <--- I made that up.)

uh....
I'm confused. I don't think I am stupid though, if that's what you're getting at.
To back track, you mentioned some good options of things to invest in, and while I agreed, I was also mentioning that my hesitation has to do with my worries about the ethics of the companies that are invested in. If I could be sure a company was working for the common good (which is silly), it would assuage those worries. But, I acknowledged, so that no one would assume I thought these worries were entirely rational, that it is (to a point) obsessive (and often blossoms into full blown paranoia, taking the shape of guilt). Overtime I usually can reassess and overcome these worries, which is what I plan to do once I go full-time. And when I go full-time and I am reassessing things, I hope I'll do it with some degree of savvy so it won't be affected by dumb politics....
Anyways, if you weren't calling me stupid and just meant to get back on topic, then, I feel sort of that this presidency's lunacy (which is not restricted to the commander in chief, but all his cronies in government) might be endangering to USD in general (not just messing with the stocks), because .... if folks who have money and power start to see it as a trend (not a one time mishap), we are revealing a great vulnerability in our government that does not bode well for the USD.

Yeah, that was a light hearted stab, trying to be cute.
I tend to agree about the danger to our long term futures, but I also insist that we should take the money and run when we have a chance.
Maybe the fact that I am sixty three years old contributes to this end game philosophy, while disregarding other concerns.
This is not rock paper scissors. Hard stocks like minerals and precious metals win every time over Wall Street.
But in support of your concerns, and for my own I have never bought South African gold or central African diamonds.

The market was certainly due for a correction but it didn't have to be in this way. The moron in chief doesn't understand (or doesn't care) that what a president does will have consequences.
He knows. He revels in it. Then he blames others for it if it goes wrong.
I'm not sure he fully understands. His impulsive Twitter-based decision-making process tells a different story.

If he truly doesn't understand, you would think the republican party leaders would have been aware of this deficit ???
*throws hands up in the air*
It's despicable of them to put someone who can't do a job in a position to fail. That's terrible. Using him basically. They are just as bad as he is, in this case.

They use words like "moron", "idiot", "five year old", ect to describe him. They're aware.
And, if you pay attention to how they've reacted, on many levels, it's pretty obvious that they are.
The problem is, the CiC is not an idiot in all things. He's very adroit at turning his base against Republicans.

I am about as far left as SG. But I would always give ethical investments a big swerve. One of my brothers invested in some ethical investments and I'm pretty sure he lost most of it.
Companies and corporations aren't supposed to have ethics. Expecting them to have ethics is letting government off the hook.
-
Sociopathic behavior, such as maximizing profit over the common weal, OUGHT to result in removing the ability to
continue such practice. Like, put them out of business for a few months/years.
If corporations are people, let's start treating them as such in the penalty side too.

I began thinking about how imbalanced society is. We are too specialised, socially, politically, economically. You can't have any global cultural upliftment when everyones niche can remain so seperated from everyone else's. How can anyone lead in this social environment? Of course they use him. Of course he uses them. And all those that wouldn't are likely nowhere close enough to be any kind of influence
*sigh*

Has the news about Al Jazeera's sting operation on Pauline Hanson's One Nation party been in the news outside Australia?
She is like a female bogan version of Trump. Less money but similar intellect.

That's what I thought about the guy I barely saw riding his motorcycle at night with no lights on and no reflective gear on. A future Darwin Award winner in the making!
You can't fix stupid!

I've heard people compare Boris Johnson to Trump.
Gotta say, other than the hair, I don't get it.

He's not nearly orange enough to pass himself off as a Trump impersonator. But he's a right wing populist who says offensive things.

You can fix stupid with a lobotomy. Though sometimes this just exacerbates the problem.

I couldn't see if he had a helmet on......but, at that time of night, on a very busy road riding a motorcycle with no lights on...a lobotomy could be easily had.....along with a serious brain and body damage.

He's CAPABLE of speaking with intelligence and wit.
So, maybe if you can't fix stupid, you can at least waste intellect.

He says Corbyn is a negative force.

He says Corbyn is a negative force.
He's not exactly gonna say "Cornyn is a great guy, vote for him instead of me".

As someone that lives here, I say support the Government. I want a normal Labour party - this lot you would say no to.
-
What is a "normal" Labour Party? Something like Tony Blair's bogus "3rd Way" that was just a cover for Thatcherism.

They bully and intimidate decent people, particularly the disabled. They mock the Army and the state. They're extremists.
New Labour, for all their authoritarianism, didn't do this.

What planet are you living on? Corbyn is opposing Tory plans to "review eligibility criteria" for disability pensions. Guess what, they aren't doing that because they want to make disability pensions easier to access. In case it wasn't obvious, that is newspeak for slashing welfare spending.
New Labour were not a real Labour party, they were a bunch of neoliberal globalists and interventionists who further entrenched Thatcherism and put a nice-sounding (but entirely bogus) "we're doing it for everybody's benefit" spin on it.

Not sure if that link will work for everyone, but in a nutshell:
* Trump brags to reporters about secret immigration deal with Mexico.
* Trump pulls secret immigration deal out of his pocket and waves it around to show off.
* Reporters take photos of secret immigration deal and it's not so secret any more.

Well, they can't fix Trump. but we knew that.
