Right now I'd like some more bandwidth.

Can't you just have the band members spread out more?

They are eating as much as they can. :P

I used to go to this club all the time when I was a kid !!!

Club Octane. :) It's an all ages club out here in the southern suburbs with me, and only 10 minutes away from where I went to high school.

I used to go here EVERY weekend and see bad punk bands play. The place is tiny ~ !!! OMG, maybe a hundred or 2 people can fit there ? Thats it

And Holy shit, look what I found on youtube. The Devil Wears Prada playing there in 06....goddamn.

This is a long ass time ago, before they were famous. Half of them are only 16 - 17 years old... And they SUCK, Jeremy sounds fucking horrible. . So, I'm sure that is why they played at club Octane.

I still wish I was there. It's just funny to see my obsession playing on the same stage I used to jump off of :D

After Katrina, we "lost" our Charity Hospital and VA Hospital due to flooding and mold damage.  The State and Federal gov'ts decided to build a new complex incorporating both facilities on one site.  Part of the process involved demolishing or relocating buildings and houses.  This is the last building on the site that is to be moved.  It's not far from where I have to be tomorrow, so if time allows I will swing by and take a look.

McDonough No. 11 was built in 1879.  The state has contracted with Orleans Shoring to move the building at a cost of about $320,000. The firm has detached the top two floors of the building from its foundation and first floor, and is moving that upper portion to a temporary holding parcel on the edge of the UMC (University Medical Center) footprint.

Between 10 a.m. and noon, the building had moved about 100 yards from its original location.

Once the first leg of the move is completed, the state facilities office will hire a structural engineer, independent of Orleans Shoring, to determine whether the building remains structurally sound enough to be moved a second time and re-established on a new foundation and first floor. (I don't know why they couldn't determine this before the move, but I can understand wanting to know before any foundation and first floor is built.)

A good monarch is a treasure. A good politician is an oxymoron.

My brain is both uninhibited and uninhabited.

That is really cool. I love big engineering projects like that.

Well, as usual my emotions have translated themselves into physical symptoms.
I just stood up to take my laptop from my bed to my desk, and I almost blacked out along the way.
