Independence worked out pretty well for Ireland, and their economy's doing great these days.  I doubt we could do much worse as an independent country than as part of the UK; we're already the armpit of northern Europe, and there's only room for improvement.

lived in what?

Been part of the UK.

I couldn't really give a shit. Borders change, etc, so I highly doubt that either Scotland and England will exist in a 1,000 years.

Anyway, the reason why Scotland has been colonised so much by wankers was because the Scottish nobility fucked its people over.

Who thinks scotland should be independent  :zoinks:

I do.

I'm Scotch-Irish, the thought of being able to move back is attractive.
You're the retarded offspring of five monkeys having buttsex with a fish squirrel, congratulations.

Well technically anyone can post, since we don't ban (except one spammer, I believe), but I'm not sure there's much of interest here to people who aren't on the autistic spectrum, since they don't tend to come or stick around.
You'll never self-actualize the subconscious canopy of stardust with that attitude.
