Peaches and Cream Oatmeal with Peanut Butter
Salami Sandwich and a Banana

Will have lasagna, carrots, corn and a green bean salad for dinner

You seem to cook a lot of vegetables with dinner! Is that a Southern thing?  ;D

Who cooks?  I open the cans, put the carrots and corn on the plate and hit the microwave button.  Then I add the microwaved lasagna to the plate before I holler, "Slops on!"
Seriously, we're trying to eat better and cheaper and I'm using veggies to fill plates and tummies.

Nothing wrong with using the microwave. And vegetables are indeed filling and healthy. Good choice! I will be over later for my share!  :2thumbsup:

Bring Ben and Jerry along.

:agreed:  Cherry Garcia is delicious! I microwave ice cream too, do you do that? Just enough to make it melty around the edges.

No, I like my ice cream like I like my men.  Hard.
So, are you happy that viagra has replaced popsicle sticks and rubber bands?

Actually the popsicle commercials were less irritating than the Viagra commercials.  The men were younger too.

Good point, at that age they didn't need either.

Now I will be thinking about this, whenever someone of an adult age asks me for rubber bands.

I made some amazing tacos, but ...

On my second bite, one of the really sharp, hard as a knife blade, fried chips went down between the lower, inner gum in my front teeth and somehow cut a major vein, way down in there somewhere.

It ruined my meal.

I love the taste of blood, but not the taste of my own so much. I am also not so keen on the pain of having my gums split apart.  I am civilized, however. I enjoy more the simple pain of fire far more than blades, most especially the blades which more resemble a saw than a razor.

If I had needed this much pain tonight for personal reasons and I had a choice, I would have chosen a fire in air, not a blade in my mouth.  That fucking hurt and it ruined my meal.

Not really a bad day, all considered, but I made four tacos for myself (after making a multitude of tacos for the kids) and only took one bite out of one taco. The next bite kicked my ass. I had to leave the table seconds later to keep all the blood flowing freely from and into my mouth from freaking out the younglings. It was a bit too much blood to just swallow, due to having a fairly large vein punctured.

As taco days go, yes, this was a bad taco day for me, but the rest was passable as an OK day.

Really.
