Hope you feel better and before the trip back!  As for airports, I wouldn't go out of my way to avoid Chicago, just prepare for the worst, as per delays.  Lots of reading materiel and music are my best defense.  That and making sure all your flight info is current.  You'll probably have a smooth journey back.  Since they have tried to cut down on traveller problems thru O'Hare over the last couple of years.

Thanks ozy...I actually am back in Australia now...started feeling sick a couple days after I got back.  :-\ I think not getting enough sleep throughout the entire trip wore down my immune system.  Thanks for your advice on the airport too. :)
