The ex cancelled on kid duty tonight. He's lucky I didn't have any plans outside of the house. :P Oh well. More time to hang out with the monkeys and my evening starts at 7pm instead of 6pm. Not a big deal. Just sucks that he cancels because they were psyched he'd be home early.

My cat pissed on the Halloween candy.  :facepalm2:

okay, well not really. The candy is still wrapped individually, still in the big bag they're packaged in, and in the shopping bag. So, well protected. But he pissed on the shopping bag. Thank god nothing got inside.

One week.  I made it ONE. GODDAMN. WEEK.  before I had my usual "oh god what the hell did I get myself into?" freak out.  The really sad thing?  For me, that's progress.   :duh:
