nvlddmkm.dll gave me a shitload of trouble, and was the sole cause of nearly every bluescreen I've seen on this box. (others include trying to access protected memory, overheats, and having one program try to access the active memory of another ( Tweak for Dwarf Fortress)).

Do you have the latest Nvidia drives ? Have you installed SP2 for Vista?

Aside from drivers, it can also be caused by heat. I don't know the layout of your case, but try putting a deskfan so that it goes along the line of airflow (so pointing in and to the back), then play something graphically intensive.

Aside from drivers, it can also be caused by heat. I don't know the layout of your case, but try putting a deskfan so that it goes along the line of airflow (so pointing in and to the back), then play something graphically intensive.

Also you need to make sure there is plenty of airflow around your case. You may need to open you case and clean fans and heat sink fins. Also doing some calble tidying to improve airflow inside your case can help.

Also, make sure there is a reasonable gap between the graphics card and any hard drives you might have - you want enough room for the air to circulate.
