I had an awful night last night. I kept hearing the radio or something playing, bits of songs all the time. But there was no radio. Then I got a migraine and some sort of fever where I eneded up drenched in sweat and had to have a shower. Then I was sick from the migraine. This was all in the space of about two hours. Then it took me a long time to go to sleep because the imaginary radio was playing so loud.

Simple solution, turn a real radio on so you can't hear the imaginary one.

I am such a fucking idiot!!

I made red meat and both my kids ate rare (seriously half raw!), red meat like wild starving cave"people"  (they've done this several times before - we all love bloody red meat) along with a baked potato and some veggies. I know they had to be close to "stuffed,"  but I had also made tapioca pudding.  I had some fancy (Girl Scout) macaroons to crumble up under the pudding and some  (shitty, spray)  "whipped" cream and hot caramel to drizzle as a topping.

My son was eating everything and hesitated at the dessert. I (in an effort to appeal to a ten year old MALE child) told him it was made out of frog eyes and if he looks closely he can Just make them out and he can feel them "because they are squishy."   Well he gobbled it down, but my daughter, who had eaten an entire eight ounce, rare steak by herself(!!) began to cry for all the little froggies who had to give up their eyes for us to have a dessert.
