finished marking, but the last five papers (out of 1000) wouldn't save the mark totals, so they took me over an hour to fart about with.  eventually, in desperation, i submitted them anyway (it's all online), and would you credit it, they went off.     if i'd known that, i could've spared myself an hour of frustration.

mind you, i'll have to check they've really gone - what's the betting they've re-appeared, saying i haven't marked them?

Online marking really sucks. I got a paper back once from Edexcel where they had forgotten to mark an entire page, the system did not even flag it up. It makes me wonder how correct most peoples marks actually are.

Its just the way they have implemented it. Asides I would hardly say the exam system is at all safe, the government really need to reform it a long way. Some of my friends have had some really serious problems with Edexcel, for one it led to them not being able to go to university this time around. OCR have been little better. The only board which has been ok is AQA, i never get why the government dont withdraw the licenses of the others and nationalise the whole system.

As for faith, I have it in some things, just dont show it too often. Part of the the reason I come online is moan.

am really fucking angry.  i specifically asked my neighbour not to do any drilling today, cos of wanting to have a gentle morning.

AND THEY'RE FUCKING WELL DRILLING!!!  right next to my bathroom, where i was intending to have a nice leisurely bath.  AND i gave him ten days warning.
