Now I just want the grade.

I did what i had to, then forced myself to not overdo; I'm done everything I need to do, and will be on campus on Monday with about 45 minutes to kill in which to do the extra work that I want to.  That'll be nice, because I'll be sitting down and doing that witha  nice couple bottles of soda and a coffee (caffeine in the soda, decaf coffee, milk, and a fuckload of splenda- a hazelnut milkshake).

No, it's a recurring injury.  Every so often, I rip the left side of the muscle that runs down the back of the neck and holds it up, and then have a very painful and stiff neck for a few days.

Doesn't sound good. I have an old injury associated with a pulled buttock muscle, that recurrs, but not too frequently. I once had to do a drunk test with a pulled butt muscle. It took a while to get the cop to believe that I hadn't been drinking, but that my butt was sore.
