Finger still hurts.

Speaking of hurt fingers, yesterday I cut my pinky finger on a piece of cardboard...it was sliced in a particularly inconvenient spot. Soon thereafter I pierced another finger whilst removing a velcro binder from the old man's stomach. The velcro punctures aren't too bad, but the pinky is slightly infected.

  *wobbles over with antibiotic ointment ... take care of that!*

Damn little crawly bug inside the back of my shirt.  He'll not be doing that again.

Not sure if it's a termite or just a stray bug.  It's termite season now.  The first major swarm was Saturday night.

For the infected finger, try tea tree oil.

Its a fantastic antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral. I put a drop on any wound showing signs of developing an infection, and it works great.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will keep it in mind for the future...I also enjoy the feeling tea tree oil gives my skin.

Nothing, as far as I know.

I got the X-ray results back yesterday--finally. They showed... nothing out of the ordinary. They suggested me to call back if the pain doesn't go away, so that's what I did. I have an appointment later today.

Its suited to cutaneous infections, infected cuts, grazes, and best of all, mosquito bites. Stops the itching straight away. You could try applying it to the finger that is infected regardless, no harm done if it doesn't work, if it doesn't heal after 3 days or so, then get to a doc and get a course of antibiotics.

  My jaw is sore from the dental appointment.  It's hard to open my mouth wide enough to get food in. 

I'm torn. The obvious jokes are or , but I could also go with or . Consider the joke made, and assume that you laughed at it.

Family Systems Theory. It sucks. A lot of people write articles based on Bowen's work on FST but I asked my lecturer about it and we are not supposed to use Bowen's stuff. I have had to delete a few articles because of that.

Looking for anxiety in the parents and FST but can only find anxiety in children. Looks like I am going to have to make up some stuff.
