Well, here's the initial idea for an IntensityCubed. Any suggestions/input would be helpful.
The forms would be as follows:
WELCONE TO INTENSITYCUBED! Various site rules
(This portion wold be moderated)
THE SAFE HARBOR
INTRODUCTIONS: Say hello and tell us a bit about yourself
Child Boards: Ask Away Threads, Personal Blogs
GENERAL DISCUSSION: Chat Away, just no personal attacks
Child Board: Take it Outside (this is where you go if you get in a fight)
ASD SUPPORT/AVDOCACY: Talk about your issues and possible solutions
Child Boards:TBD
S.S. Smooth Sailing Talk about your interests (this would be moderated for on topic only)
SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
SPORTS, GAMES AND HOBBIES
TV, MOVIES, MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT
PERSONAL SUBMISSIONS

The only real problem I have with this site is that there are too many different forums and when my "recent unread topics" gets scrubbed I can never find the threads I was involved in. Creating more would make me even more confused :laugh:
The thing I like most about this site is it's lack of moderation. I think there are already moderated boards for aspies. I choose this one because it's not moderated. If I had been forced to join the unmoderated section first, I would probably have got bored and left before I ever got accepted to the unmoderated section.
I think what you're saying could be a good idea, although I don't think moderating it would be a good idea. I'm not sure if what you're saying would revolutionize the site, or just refine it slightly.

Set it up as a separate forum, with you as admin, and take it from there. Then do what you want with it.
Saves fucking around with something that already works.

Yes, it would be a whole new site. I'd like to get most of the regulars here over there just to test it out, along with new recruits form other large aspie sites.

The number we have here is enough for what we want, if Scrap can get his own membership then we'd have to see what that would be like. As some fora have died, and some have multiple memberships, another new one isn't gonna be much different.

Given here took about 4 years to get to where it is, I3 will definitely take a long time too.

I'm pretty experienced when it comes to hosting on the forums and my style of advertising seems to work out quite well with Aspies Central, I could do the same with I3. :viking:
It could take a confusionator god to get it up and running, who knows?

I can think of a few reasons why I'm not bothering with I3 IF it ever gets going.
1) My experience at Damned Village was proof that if the admin wants to fuck with someone, he'll do it for the lulz.
2) Scrap wouldn't want me there anyway.
3) I'm happy here without bullshit coming at me on his turf.

Scrap, are you thinking of making it visually clear if you are in the moderated or not moderated part of the site? Like a different background colour? I would get lost of what is moderated and what not if there is no visual helping out.

I think that's a good idea. It would make it easier for allmembers to know where to be serious, and where to blow off steam.
