I loved those.

I kept losing.

I loved Choose Your Own Adventure as well.   Didn't most kids though?   The artwork on that makes me want to think back on whether I actually read that one or not.

Its actual title was THE ANTIMATTER FORMULA, by Jay Leibold.

MIS-DIAGNOSIS

Two medical students were walking along the street when they saw an old man
walking with his legs spread apart.

One of the students said to his friend: "I'm sure he has Petry Syndrome.
Those people walk just like that."

The other student says: "No, I don't think so. The old man surely has
Zovitzki Syndrome. He walks just as we learned in class."

Since they couldn't agree they decided to ask the old man. They  approached
him and one of the students said to him: "We're medical students and
couldn't help but notice the way you walk, but we couldn't agree on the
syndrome you might have. Could you tell us what it is?"

The old man said: "I'll tell you, but first you'll tell me what you think."

One of the students said: "I think it's Petry Syndrome."

The old man said: "You thought......... but you are wrong."

Then the other student said: "I think you have Zovitzki Syndrome."

The old man said: "You thought.......... but you are wrong.

So they asked him: "Well, what do you have?"

The old man said: "I thought it was GAS........... but I was wrong."

I didn't cry, but I had to stop eating for fear of asphyxiation.

You win this thread because that's most unsettling to even think about.

I saw this the other day but didn't have a camera; I finally bothered to actually take a picture and thought I'd share, though honestly I want to go backa again with a friend and have them take a picture of me standing/posing next to the sign.

Yes, I'm immature.  So shoot me.

It is a stop sign at Beaver Street.   We have a Beaver Street around here, it isn't the best place to stop at though haha (they are restoring the ghetto parts).   There are places to stop and eat on Beaver Street.
:P   Internets are super serious.

There were like three vampire ones, including a space vampie one with a vamp that could grow his neck like three fucking feet extra (which you'd die if you didn't anticpate- that's the only ending I remember because the artwork for that death was fucked up).

I read all of those that might school library had.  Many times, in fact.  However, I only remember the first one -- Third Planet from Altair.

Never let your kids play with flip phones.

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.
