My father-in-law passed away, a few minutes ago.

really good right now - things are in my favor, it seems (well - except for cunty legal things, but that shitshot crapshite was expected after a few days ago).

work is going well for me. i am of the chosen few, it seems. staff cuts are done and i still have a job, more hours, more money.


no- it is not luck - i worked my aching old arse off to keep my job, again, but this time it has worked out, for now.

the second guy who i stabbed in the gut with the bat and then took out his legs about a minute later when he tried to run away has a rich uncle and lawyers
I hurt him really bad did not know i had caused a compound fracture to him

the county prosecutor tells me that nothing can come of this, same as the guy who ran me off the road and wanted to impress his girlfriend with how he could take over a situation. i hurt him, but i am more worried when i get a  court summons delivered by a county sheriff and a request to appear for an additional deposition by registered mail, inquiring as to the identity of my legal representative


i know they are trying to trip me up and make me say something to hurt myself  the only legal mind i know, other than my own, is my sis-in-law, but she's kind of sick right with her parkinson desesae  i am on my own for now

You should be fine.  Are there any organizations around you that promote neighborhood watches they might be worth contacting for advice

I did some research on the Castle Doctrine and I think that your use of reasonable force was justified under Indiana law, DirtDawg.

IC 35-41-3-3
Use of force relating to arrest or escape
     Sec. 3. (a) A person other than a law enforcement officer is justified in using reasonable force against another person to effect an arrest or prevent the other person's escape if:
        (1) a felony has been committed; and
        (2) there is probable cause to believe the other person committed that felony.
However, such a person is not justified in using deadly force unless that force is justified under section 2 of this chapter.
