US Supreme Court willing to hear a case about lethal injection.

Does it cause pain to the inmate if do improperly?

It certainly could if they do it wrong.

My mother told me about one time when she was just about to have surgery and the anaesthetic didn't work properly and it sounded horrible.

They do it by IV.  I have had them try once 12 times before they got it in right and it hurts. Then again I am sure anyway you kill someone hurts.   Hopefully this can be used to eliminate  the death penalty

People have made theatrics out of it, that's for sure.

Personally I'd prefer the death penalty being abolished, but if there was a choice, lethal injection seems like the most humane. Definitely better than hanging.
