NCIS, and I2, during the commercial breaks.
I am curious just how that show is viewed in other parts of the world due to it being about US military and the somewhat dim view many have of it in other parts of the world. I know it's a crime show but they do touch on some sensitive subjects at times.
I like it better than a lot of the other crime shows. The dynamic between the people is good. It's less glossy than things like CSI, and, it is a series where there is the notion that not all can be turned right, a sense of tragic. I do miss that in a lot of USA series. And, yes, they do touch on sensitive subjects. That's part of the pleasure of looking at it. Seeing how sensitive subjects are being dealt with in a series shows what kind of thoughts live with the people producing the series. And, how they try to embed it in such a way that the public will still take it.
In UK series, there is a lot of touching on subjects like euthanasia. The public, and the people making those series, are often further in thinking about that than the politicians are ready for.
I've watched the series NCIS is a spin off from for a while too, but, JAG never got to be something I could turn the TV on for.
