I love Guinan.  In the star trek TNG episode "Night terrors"  everyone except data and presumably guinan are going insane, and a fight breaks out in ten-forward(a bar), guinan is the bar keeper, and she pulls out this huge rifle and fires at the cieling, and says, "That was setting number one, does anyone want to see setting number two?"
