I could similarly make as ridiculous claim about saying that only men with children have a claim to manliness or that my masculinity is up for question if I was a virgin or if I had not.....had a fight before. Your shame is not not having had a fight before, that is an invalid, rigged comparison. Your shame is not having the courage to accept the fight. You shame is to run away from the woman who was about to have sex with you (and not if you are a virgin). Your shame is to back out for emotional reasons and to not stand up and be a man.Quote from: Al Swearengen on October 20, 2013, 05:32:05 PMThese are not serious considerations and most "men" on here gave up such considerations when they were out of their teens and became men and no longer had the insecurity of being little boys. You actually brought up a good example here. If men suffer from impotence or infertility, it is often a major issue for them, although you supposedly should have 'grown out of it', can just adopt a kid, can use sperm banks what not. Those are not intellectually serious considerations, they are emotional, primal. You can't think your way out of it. And that is just how this is.
