Recently I read about a 15 year old boy who commited suicide after being put on the "sex offenders list" for having streaked during a football game. Show butt for fun = RAPE.

Before that I read about a 9 year old girl, apprehended, arrested, and brought to TRIAL... TO TRIAL... for "playing doctor" with a boy.
I can imagine the prosecutors - "this girl did not PLAY DOCTOR... there were no stetoscopes found or anything! She was exploring his genitals, in a naive but sexually curious manner!"
*BAM: RAPIST!*

Here's my suggestion: Ban nudity. Anyone ever remove their clothes - for any reason - put them on the sex-offenders list.
You can shower perfectly well by gathering water and soap in your hand, lifting your shirt, and splashing it up under.

^Forward this suggestion to your politicians, they'll be thrilled!

Politics is a fire-bucket I've learned to not debate too much w people, no matter what country etc. But this fear of nudity seen in America - it was funny! At first!
But it's not anymore, not when children are being legally punished for... nudity :D This baffles me...

In fact, it isn't just America, obviously, all the muslim countries are _terrified_ of nudity as well, and punish any hint harshly, and it is very worrying.

Another thing that bothers me is: Toddlers in a bikini, on the beach. No, no, no. I find a toddler in a bikini to look more sexualized than buck naked, and a sexualized toddler makes me uneasy :D
I have a bit of understanding, parents want to protect their baby from creeps glances, but seriously... I'm betting your average European tourist beach has like... 10 spying toddler-lovers a year or something... statistically, it should be a non-issue.
On the same beaches, I am walked past, 1 metre from me, young teen girls with the perkiest tits ever, bouncing free. I was actually cut off mid-sentence, just to stutter a bit, before I could collect my chain of thought again

I'm pretty disgusted that a 9yo could be arrested at all, let alone brought to trial for that sort of thing.

Here in the UK 9yo is below the age of criminal responsibility entirely. 10 is the absolute minimum that a child can be found guilty of a crime, before that, the principle of doli incapax applies.

In Sweden it's 15. Before that you can't be prosecuted. And before you are 18, you won't get a real punishment either, except in extremely severe cases.

There have always been prudish people around but the worry about sex offenders and shit is from of the fear mongering the media and politicians who  began using for votes and viewers in the 90s.  Politicians love looking like they are tough on crime and just keep adding what makes up a sex crime without thinking of the consequences, couple that with the zero tolerance shit that they also love and the above stories are what you get.  Anybody who questions any of it is hit with the 'don't you want to protect the children' bullshit and looked at suspiciously.

The really perverted thing is to consider nudity unnatural.

I'm pretty sure that there are a lot of real sex offenders, pedophiles etc among the legislators themselves, just like it is in the Catholic church.

I honestly don't see the problem with a couple of tweens discovering that kind of shit. I mean they're putting themselves in danger of teen pregnancy, and i'd explain it to them and whip their asses for it. But ARRESTING them? What the fuck?
