:lol1: I actually laughed in the theater when I watched the passion of Christ, and everyone was acting like they were going to beat me up or something. I couldn't help it though, because that has to be one of the most ridiculous stories in the bible. Plus the fact that we had all paid like fifteen bucks to watch what was supposedly the nicest guy ever get tortured for two hours.

That's just hilarious to me.

Passion of the Christ was fucking hilarious

In fact, some of the gory details are of a caliber I've only seen in splatters - like the hooked whips tearing his skin off wtf :D

That shit was ridiculous. I thought people were weird for not laughing, personally.

There are two recent-ish movies, where I really thought "oh boy" and seriously considered the mental health of those who wrote it: Passion of the Christ, and Rambo (4)

Both were a shock-fest of violence :D

I didn't give a damn about the violence in the passion, really. Its just the "message" it was supposed to be sending to everyone. LOOK AT ALL HE WENT THROUGH FOR YOUR SINS.

I'm rolling my eyes over here, thinking "Ohh ok. So you were there, right? You knew the guy? He was your neighbor, along with Mr Rodgers?" I mean the guy may not have even existed, and people are creaming their pants while watching him get tortured to death for TWO HOURS, because he allegedly did it to make sure they get to life with sky pappy.

They will always see that in my eyes.
I am the passion; I am the warfare.
I will never stop...
always constant, accurate, and intense."

I guess I'm the other way around - I don't give a shit about "the message", I'm European, I never gave a shit, nobody I know ever gave a shit, and we were never taught or hinted to giving a shit about Jesus ;D
So... we're all there for "Let's see about this hyped up torture-movie!" :D

Also, it is kindov like making a hyper-realistic depiction of the death of Balder or something.
Religious people "no, no, no, that is not a good comparison at ALL! Norse mythology is just mythology - but Jesus was REAL! REAL REAL REAL I SAY!!!!"

I honestly don't see the problem with a couple of tweens discovering that kind of shit. I mean they're putting themselves in danger of teen pregnancy, and i'd explain it to them and whip their asses for it. But ARRESTING them? What the fuck?

They weren't even tweens, the girl was 9, the boy was 8 or so, in that one case, she was exploring his wee wee...
I mean...

What pisses me off most about this - is that everyone pretends like its some secret. Like, since we don't talk about it - we cannot admit that it exists - even when it gets real serious.
When POLICE arrives, it's time for someone to go "hold it everyone... kids... they're KIDS EXPLORING... genitals. You never did that?"

"I NEVER DID THAT! GOD WOULD PUNISH ME IF I DID!"

"well, then you're a douchebag. RELEASE THE KID AND LET HER GO HOME TO HER DINNER FFS."

I never did any of that when I was a child.  Therefore nobody should.  :M
