The snow blower I found on the side of the street in the spring only kinda works so I had to shovel some by hand

  Cabdriver couldn't get a parking space in front of my house the other morning, so he parked
  one house down and I had to walk an awfully long way and I'm not in shape for such exertion.  :'(

  My favorite UncrustablesTM are the peanut butter and grape jelly ones, but sometimes those
  are in short supply and the only ones they have are too far back on the shelf for me to reach.
  On those occasions, I have to settle for the peanut butter and strawberry jam flavor.  :'(

  I like to melt the eof my ice cream in the microwave, but yesterday I left it running

  The new magazines are due on the stands today, but I might have to hang around the store waiting
