Well, my taste in music is quite broad and yet only one single criterium goes with me.. 'I (simply) have to like it'. Don't care much for categories or in which box a band goes.

Liked some of the somewhat heavier stuff earlier too but rarely listen to it any more. Dunno, getting somewhat older (and more pussy), I guess.

Well, saw you post a picture of your music software content and there are more bands/songs we agree on, I reckon. Saw The Cure on the list then. Um, that's the only band that springs to mind now but props you can dig Soundgarden, Nirvana, others.. as well.

I love the cure and nirvana. I dont really like soundgarden.

I'm always messing with my music folder :d I wont keep anything I dont currently listen to and sometimes add new things I feel like listening to again or things I discover. Some things will never change.

Um, don't even know p/m half of the bands there, I think. Gorgoroth? Well, loved/still love quite a few of the Pumpkins' songs. Think Gish has some brilliant songs on it.

Must confess.. I think I listen to music a tad differently than native English speaking folks. Not sure but think the lyrics of songs weigh more for people from the US/GB/Aus/other.. where I tend to have a certain distance from the lyrics and go on feel/sphere of the sound a bit more. The music is more important for me, I reckon. Dunno.

Also as an AS dude, (and being Dutch is a factor too here), I sometimes have a hard time understanding some of the (very) abstract meanings behind some songs. In general, not specifically the Smashing Ps, I mean. Kinda the same with some/most poetry. Try to educated-guess what is meant sometimes, reading poetry or song lyrics but I can miss the nail's head completely.

Oh, mis-hitting the nail means I can misread/misunderstand completely. It's meant poetically. 

Might look for some songs of the bands posted by you in previous post but I now going to shower, get me some groceries and make dinner after that.
