^I feel awful for you upon reading this. Your cat sounds like she has been an awesome companion. And smart too.

I've had her for 17 years and she's been through some truly awful things with me. I can't even begin to imagine not having her here but she's taken a sudden turn for the worse. It came out of the blue and those that are closest to me agree that it's not looking good. Kidneys?I think stress from the kids coming and going. She cries outside the bedroom door of whatever child isn't here. At her age, the constant change is really difficult. She has a tumour that showed up 2 years ago but didn't change much and it's suddenly growing again. She scratched off a large scab on her back and it's not healing and the grand finale was she stopped using her litterbox. All in all, not good at all. But she *looks* healthy, runs around, snuggles etc. So it's hard to making the final call when she doesn't have some deathly disease. Sigh.Quote from: couldbecousin on July 22, 2012, 04:33:57 AMQuote from: MissKitty on July 21, 2012, 07:57:00 AMAwful. Been crying since yesterday. What does the vet say?I will be seeing him tomorrow to talk about it when I take a friend's cat in to be put down. In short, this week is horrific.

She plopped down on my bed and told me to go ahead and open it for her.14:11 - Peter5930: So, she thought I was your lover and that I was sending you a box full of sex toys, and that you wanted to move to Glasgow to be with me?
