I thought of this just before my birthday last year, when my brother sent me an email dated 10-11-12.

My cat is snoring like twenty pounds of fat cat.

Remember I used to say she was a small cat?  Well she is actually a tiny cat, probably nine or ten pounds if she was a hunter. Now she has become obese (have not weighed her, but I am guessing fourteen pounds - half again her normal weight. I would be three hundred pounds if that were so of my weight.   ).

She is a darling, still, but hell!  I am worried about her health.

I have been through an election that probably could only be dreamed by a eccentric mind.

Polls opened at 7 a.m.  We were placed in the large hallway, not a problem.  They were using the Dining Hall as the main area for an open house for prospective students. 

After the open house some more people came into the Dining Hall with beer, wine, liquor, items for auction, etc.  It was for a pet rescue organization.  Evidently there is a group of ladies of varying ages who wear atomic or fluorescent colored wigs and corsets, tights of bright colors, ballerina tutus, biscuit beater pants, etc. and seem to dress as some type of Anime feline.  Then the Elvis impersonators came in.  Evidently they were the band.  Everyone walked around the hallway freely, carrying alcohol, eating food and one person even looked in a voting machine!  They set up a photo booth next to our tables.

Quite an experience I can assure you.

Voting here is usually done at a school (on the weekend) or a community centre. I have never seen the likes of what you experienced!

Another thing I am thinking is that I have finished all the reading here and now it is very quiet. Need more people online and posting!
