lol timezones
Existence actually has two broad meanings despite its apparent meaningless. The constant reconciliation of all its parts, and the conservation of any closed system as a whole.

Morality can be extrapolated from these meanings to make these two commandments of godless morality: 1). Be in harmony with one another and 2). Care for the environment.

No moon here, since it is completely cloudy and it's still snowing.

I made snow ice cream for my daughter, though.

I love it when the moon looks really enormous and close to the ground.  Why does it look that way sometimes?   :orly:

Because it's close to the ground, but looks bigger since it remains the same size. Optical illusion basically.

If it looked that way every night, it wouldn't puzzle me so much.  Unless it *does* look that way every night at moonrise,
and maybe I just miss seeing it most nights.  Sometimes it looks so big that it's almost frightening!  :zombiefuck:

I always have dreams of the moon crashing into the earth. Would be interesting if that actually happens.

Interesting in a "We iz all gonna die!!!" kind of way?
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

Actually, the moon is (very  slowly) drifting away from us, so I heard on one of the science channels on TV.   :nerd!:

I'm aware of that. But there are several scenarios that can make it fling back at us, such as:

- Nuclear detonation on the surface gone wrong
- Asteroid collision

etc.

 Meteor-related scenarios?   :hide:

The asteroid one is the most likely. The other one won't likely happen until we decide to colonise the moon.
