Some large something-in-my-back relaxed today during my stretching routine, with a resounding thud. I now have my normal range of motion, again. Still painful to stand for long and the numbness in my leg is still there (a little - I will need a specialist for this if it continues, according to my doc), but the LEG-ON-FIRE sensation has abated.

Vicodin helps a little.
