It's the opposite of a public condition.

Edit: Glad to hear it, QV.

thank you all for your happiness.

Very good to hear, QV!

My Aunt finally got the results back after having her mastectomy. Of the two types of cancer it could have been, it's the lesser of the two evils. So instead of chemo, she can take a pill at home. Has all sorts of side effects and it will take her body 3-4 months to adjust to it and she has to continue it for 5 years, keeping an eye on it because it can damage her heart and cause a lot of bone density loss, but at least it wasn't worse than what it is. Very, very, relieved. :)

My mom had a successful masectomy, chemo and radiation in the 1970's.  Thankfully most cancers have a good outcome if caught in time.  Glad things look good for you aunt.

That's too bad she had to have a mastectomy but it beats death.

Alone alone at last for a few hours of solitude with little to do but post

That sounds heavenly.  It is also my usual after-work routine!   :2thumbsup:

She had her first masectomy 10 years ago and all the treatment that goes with it and they said there was little to no chance of it coming back and then all of a sudden at her last mammogram, there it is. Shocked all of us. But now that there's no breasts to be had, she definitely can't get breast cancer again :P Although we're hoping it doesn't creep up in other places.

*EBM arrived safely in MT. Halfway point to his destination in Idaho.

Well over half way. I did about 1,000 miles (1,600 km) today, only about 300 miles (482 km) left.
I hate just driving 680 miles in  a day.

Who playing what?

The first was staff and students from my university playing music for piano and percussion (Bartok and a couple of other composers); the second was the wind orchestra of my university playing music from around the world.

The power came back on this morning, earlier than the electric-company representative estimated it would!  :headbang2:
