My orchestra got new music, and we have the entire Planets suite. Unfortunately we won't be playing all of it.

I got my part for the production of Fiddler on the Roof that I'm playing in, and I have the 1st clarinet part, which has a bunch of cool solos.

We had the metric system here already in 1877, and I even know most weights and measurements in the US, though I don't need to.  :viking:

Metric is really easy actually.  We were told in second grade that it was going to replace the standard system before we were out of high school :laugh:

We heard that in sixth grade. We had weekly metrics lessons for awhile but it wasn't really enforced.  :P

But it's easy. An English mile=1609 metres. 1lb=453.6 grams. 1 litre=1 US gallon/3.8 or 1 British gallon/4.5.  :viking:
