Any amount of tale-chasing causes me to revolt.

Oh, let the young guys sow their wild oats.

Using cum rags on your stomach, legs, chest, furniture or walls is not the same as sowing.

This bullshit needed an update. We have smart people working there. we can do smart things. We don't need to follow stupid procedures which were implemented because of stupid people, at our location. We can handle the smart way. "Trust us,"  I said.

It worked!!

I'm amazed. I'd come up with detailed
methods of doing things better, and
get canned replies. Then again, you've
seen how good I am at convincing people.

Went out and checked for any ice dams on the roof.  Cleared a bunch of snow off the main "avalanche" roof above the garage.

Showed two Bergman flicks today.

I saw this instantly. I have been getting canned responses for two and a half months. I kept on harping. Last week thy tried it in one small department, It worked.

This week we tried it store-wide. It worked.

It works.
Give the laziest person the hardest job and they will find the easiest way to do it. Simple.

shopping

Ah, we knew I had to go
shopping, but I (again) bought
all sorts of different things.

Avocados, tomatoes, cauliflower, rice (wtf!),
potatoes, and lettuce.

Plus, fishy! Trout was cheap.
Probably should make that tonight.
With the cauliflower.

Ah, and juice again.

I just couldn't imagine growing up with
my mother's sense of food, and not being
absolutely addicted to good stuff.

And, I bought some of my staples. Doggies,
potato chips, tuna (though that's becoming a
new thing).

On my way home, I noticed that I was actually
worried I might get run over (I go home on the
highway, and 'twas dark). Haven't felt anything like
fear, in quite some time. No reason to give a shit.

Not caring if you get mowed down is on  the course. Fearing what you don't care about is even further along that same course.

Buying all that wonderful food to let spoil is the real irony.

Started the xmas undecorating at my wife's church.   :green:

We have been ENTHUSIASTICALLY un-decorating at work this week.

Sometimes in the mornings before the store opens, we play volley ball with an out of balance kids plastic ball, half deflated. (It lifts spirits, relieves stress, builds team cohesion, etc.etc.) You can never predict where the fucking thing is going to go after you hit it. It's a blast! Last Thursday, the boss began a plan of attack - "Fuck hitting the ball over the net! If it comes my way, I'm trying for the Holiday Greetings!"
That became our new game all weekend. It was FUN!

I don't think I bought the food for health,
but because it TASTES good.

And, I did care, for once.

Buying all that wonderful food to let spoil is the real irony.

:D

And something I'm always in danger of. I ate the most perishable items
(ah, the fish), but I do have a hunk of pork I pulled down from the freezer,
a couple days ago. Cooking more than once a week is difficult for me. I
usually don't care enough.

you eat doggies?  :orly:

Damned near every day.
I'm getting better.
