washed up and stuck some washing on, eaten a crappy Pot Noodle. about to take my neighbour to buy a new back door... funny how people sniff you out for errands when they know you've nowt better to do.  :laugh:

Cleaned, patched and re-set our above ground pool. It's filling with water at this moment. My daughter was actually interested in food this morning, so I made (her favorite) crepes for breakfast, salmon is for lunch. I have some yardwork yet to do.

Been all over the area this afternoon with my neighbour hunting for a suitable back door. Killed four hours anyway, and she gave me some petrol money, beer money and bought fish and chips for my help.  8)

Time to chill now.

Went to my guitar lessons, finished setting up Amber's camping supplies and equipment, packed it into the car, had the generator serviced, finally ate lunch after my stomach threatened to devour my spine.  (don't ask),  went shopping and withdrew some cash from the bank for the trip.  Now sitting here trying to get the energy to get off and get the laundry done!

A real back door. She has a 'stable door' which splits so the top can be opened while leaving the bottom half shut, and wanted another cos it has swollen with the rain over the past couple of winters and is now too fucked to open. After much pissing about we found a door place near the city centre which had exactly what was needed, in stock, and did us a deal for about half the price others were quoting to order in, while a lovely Sikh lass buttered us up and forced cappucinos on us. Yay for good customer service.
