I think China is the largest threat to the world today. Not necessarily in its militaristic power or weaponry, but in its economic prowess and size. Not to mention that they will do anything to advance it, including killing its own citizens or work them like slaves. Not to mention the underhanded large corporations of the world that are prepared to throw the economy of their own respective countries under the bus just to increase their profit margins, by having their product manufacturing and support outsourced to China (and nearby nations).

I don't like Chinese food, too greasy.  Other than that, I do not blame another country for kicking our ass economically.  You can't tout American-style capitalism as some kind of amazing thing that cures all ills and then bitch about another country kicking your ass.  That's called the free market, and you can't have it both ways.

I love Chinese food. And I do think they could probably take over the world in 50 years, and they are kicking major ass economically. I just dont think it is my place, or your place, or any country's place to stop them.

Good for you China, I know the Japs treated you like shit for a long time but now they are just perverts and and you went and became productive. bravo :)

My only real "problem" with China, is they need to be more responsible with public safety, the environment, and their pollution issues.

No, the other nations are helping China become the first nation in the history of mankind to have ever truly rule the entire world.

And responsibility won't be their concern. Only to enough of a level to maintain peace, perhaps. But also to keep the power away from the citizens.

Most so-called "Chinese" food was thought up by Americans, incidentally. Especially the fortune cookie. :orly:

I am sure the US would do much better economically if we too could disregard all those pesky environmental laws and human rights.

Chinese Soul Food sings.  Ya Kat Mein is great (basically a vegetable/noodle soup with some pork dice, quatered hard boiled egg and hot spices).  There's no standard recipe or spelling for the name.

Right.  The US hasn't been doing that since the 80's.  :autism:
