My bedroom fan isn't working properly. I may need to buy a new one. A bedroom fan is a necessity in Australia in summer.
It's also a good source of white noise
Indeed, I like that it drowns out the neighbourhood noise. And would you believe my fan is working well again. It must have known I was thinking of buying another one.
Yeah electronics know when you want to replace them, same with cars. But I'm lucky with neighbourhood noised, both houses either side of us are now vacant, and they will be for a while. (public housing and they want to tear them down, so as you know government move slow as hell)
Yep, I know how slow they are. It took eight years to get the place we're in now. And we've been here nearly ten years.
We're lucky that next door is a business (they're never there on weekends or overnight) the people in our unit complex are pretty quiet and the people over the other side are ok (apart from his motorbike every now and then). Only gripe I have is with the people across the road. Thankfully, they've stopped turning on their Christmas lights. They were flashing on my wall every night. But other than that, they're just very loud and always have visitors, which makes them louder. I'm very glad I don't live next door to them.
I'm changing my phone number.... just need to let my job coach, and my boss, and few other people I can trust on the plan.
