It's the coldest it's been while I've lived here, but I've only been here two and a half years. I grew up in a town with equivalent temperatures, so I've dealt with it before, but not as an adult. It's different when you have to drive, and now I know why my mother was always harassing me to wear a scarf and toque even if my jacket had a hood.

Here you would never use a hose on the windshield ice because then it would just freeze into a solid unmanageable sheet of ice.

It's supposed to get above zero next week though. I'm not complaining, but wtf Mother Nature.  :P

I get called out often because, I can see both sides of an argument AND even argue either side to a conclusion, often.
Yeah, sometimes I have one side I choose, but I can still see the other side's point and sometimes offer points they have missed, even when I have already chosen the opposing side.
Why do I do this?

It is like watching a chess game unfold and trying to NOT interfere. It is almost impossible to NOT offer a suggestion to both or either of the opposing sides.

I am often accused of talking out of both sides of my mouth. How about the notion that my brain is not yet set into stone cold concrete and it still flows fluidly between all ideas that the gravity of my thoughts can find?

My doctor wants me to go into the hospital for even further testing on my thyroid.
Could not find anything conclusive on my first testing session, but my "blood" numbers are still off a bit.

The PR fell on Friday night.  She injured her ankle.  Finally took her to the mini-emergency room (Doc in a box).  Turns out she's got a sliver of bone that's in the tissue and another fracture in another ankle bone.  Seeing the orthopaedic specialist on Thursday for possible surgery.
