I hate how my credit card company (who I have been with for 20+ years) keeps badgering me to raise my credit limit.  And as Carla would say and has proof, raising your credit limit can lower your credit score.  And we have a great score and check it frequently.  We pay off our credit card bill in one payment.  We're not going into debt to satisfy the corporate gods!

Since I'm on a roll...... :laugh:  Ancestry.com has been bugging me to spend more money to dig deeper into my DNA profile and family tree crap.  I don't care about any of that.....I got a good laugh and few surprises with my DNA results....Scandinavian (the highest percentage---those horny Vikings), western and a few spots in eastern Europe, Greece/Roman......those horny Roman soldiers.), Irish/English and the minor Spanish part.  It was fun to take the test and it answered the big questions.  The rest I don't care about.  My family tree is more like a Normandy hedgerow, impossible to get thru and damn near impossible to see details.  And as far as the regions my Canadian ancestors came from........The Gaspe Peninsula was a mild surprise, but, not that big a deal.  It was quite the melting pot in that area.

So stop bugging me to expend money and time to dig deeper and deeper into a past that is full of horny Vikings and Roman soldiers and the like. 

Now if you'll excuse me I have the urge to pillage and plunder some hapless villages.   :viking:

I am a very very tired human being. I've been intensely socializing. Yesterday was 17 hours, today only 5 hours but with a funeral thrown in so I'm beyond exhausted.

Just tried to make two phone calls. One to my psychiatrist, who is back on the 20th, so I have to ring again then. The other to the Irlen clinic whose phone seems permanently engaged. This has not been fruitful.

I THINK IT'S TIME TO GET OUT OF HERE.

Some random car (most likely stolen) just hit a street sign outside and sped off.
My neighbour came out to investigate with me and he told me his car was recently vandalised! Hence the new XR6 he's had lately.
Then there have been B&E's in the streets nearby...

Thank goodness my car is safe inside the garage!!
