Doctor was 2 hours late today and the waiting room was crowded and full of people. One guy fell asleep and was snoring, loudly. And another lady was playing a bowling game on her phone. How do I know? She had her sound turned all the way up.  :zombiefuck:

That's just plain rude.  She should keep it silent when in a waiting room.  >:(

She couldn't figure out how. Another lady kept trying to help her but couldn't figure it out and gave up.

Stress.
Ever try curing yourself of that?

Yes. While not completely successful, what I've done has helped.
Interesting. Was this achieved by only addressing the stress inducers, or by also addressing the matter of psychologically induced pain?

Both. Following advice from my dentist (!),I tried a form of meditation.

That's awesome. Cured myself of chronic headaches as a teen.

It wasn't, and isn't, easy.
No it isn't; changing a mindset is very difficult. It was probably easier being young, not having the lifetime of thought pattern. The oldest had a about a year of frequent headaches in early adolescence. Had her checked out and there was no obvious physical cause, so talked to her about my experience, the psychology and self-fulfilling prophecies of headaches, and the impact it can have on life and relationships. It was something completely forgotten, until she was in her early twenties and something inspired her to thank me.

Mine were possibly caused by a physical problem. Wore headgear from ages nine through twelve and the result was painful jaw problems. Never thought of that back then though. It probably helped that connection wasn't made at the time, and to me the pain had no excuse; it was all in my head. Maybe it was.

Changing a mindset feels downright impossible at times. I've had my triggers for decades.

Its 1:30am and my next door neighbour is playing a loud bass-y video game. Although I'm a night owl by default I can't really head up to bed until they turn their shit off. My bedroom is diagonally above their garage/makeshift entertainment room where the noise is blasting from.

I'm considering sneaking out and banging on their roller door, but I'm undecided on how intensely aggro I should do so. Should it just be a knock or should I get the sledgehammer? :apondering:

A knock would save you the hassle of charges vs the sledgehammer.  :viking:

Turned my van on and my wipers were going and wouldn't turn off. Yet the spot to turn the wipers ON was in the OFF position. Had to run an emergency errand and had to do it with the wipers going while it's sunny and dry outside.  :facepalm2: And my turning signals wouldn't work either which leads me to believe that part is a fuse issue.
