Today was organic waste bin day. I wonder if that had to do with it.

When I walked out to pick up my green bin from the curb, I noticed a spruce had been planted in a tiny spot of grass alongside the road. It wasn't there this morning, it wasn't there in the afternoon, but it stood firm and proud in the ground at 8 pm.

A discarded X-mas tree, that had not been taken with the trash?

Wonder how long it will be left there. The council culled all shrubs in public spaces, because it costs more to maintain shrubs than mow small pieces of turf.

I'm opposed to this particular digital revolution. In my day, half the battle was to get hold of a camera and some film stock. The other half was covering the expenses to pay the lab.

I do not really mind the options the digital revolution gives. But I do dislike how public relations and the skills to advertise become more important than the actual product. It is not about what one makes, but about how well someone knows to put it in the market. That sucks.

Someone else should have filtered out all the mediocre stuff before it gets published and pushed on the market.
The ones with the biggest budget for marketing get their stuff sold, not the ones with the best quality. There it sucks.
