He's banned quite a few of us, mostly without any reason other than, say, posting a link to Intensity. There was a scandal about him reading member's PMs, and another about monetary donations to the site, and many of us didn't just watch it all unfold in silence. And if you go back in time, there's been many, many examples on how Alex has worked against his moderators, micromanaging them at every opportunity.

I got banned when I wrote that WP's like a really bad daytime soap. I am still banned, as far as I know.

I used to be an admin over there when it was smaller, got sick of Alex's ego, fuckups and control issues and quit. I went back as a mod shortly before the Will Freund media circus, tried to convince Alex courting the media was a bad idea, failed. Quit again in disgust at the way he was undermining his staff and turning the site into a freakshow for gawkers festooned with flashing banner ads. I was finally banned when the 'reading PMs' scandal broke, for pointing out that Alex was lying through his teeth. So yeah, one or two of us have a little antipathy towards the bloke. Clueless tosser.

you know what every messege board i've ever posted on, exept this one was exactly like a bad soap opera. i don't think its like a soap opera on here because everyones already played a role in one and don't want that bullshit anymore. it reminds me of a pantera song i like called sandblasted skin.
