I met someone that did this for career purposes. The only difference was that they both were gay. He had his male friends, and she had her female friends, both carried on their relationships very discretely and made appearances as a couple when situations demanded it. Both were very well off financially.


Marriage to me is a contract. I don't really believe in it, but I guess it serves a purpose for some.

As for sanctity, I think it's all up to what a person feels is sacred to them, for some it's, love, religion, a good life, or money. It's their lives, let them choose.

From personal experience sanctity in marriage is extremely important to me.  My father cheated on my mother several times.  What he did not realize was that he was also cheating on his children.  Time spent with them was time taken from us.  His dick was more important than my sister and me.

One of the reasons I said yes to Prince Albert was that I was very sure that he and I had the same views on the sanctity of marriage, namely yes.  And yes we did discuss fidelity in marriage while we were dating.

I agree with you, but not because either of my parents cheated on the other.

Like you, I made sure that my husband and I saw marriage in the same way.

I believe in the sanctity of marriage but things haven't turned out so well for the marriage I am in. I do hope that someday we can sort things out and get back together but for now we are separated. I can't bear to take the ring off my finger like GA has, though.

I was married for 4 years   Im still married, actually, only on paper... it means nothing to me now. It meant somthing a few months ago, though.
