Strangely enough it really wasn't that bad. With those John Lewis events, they limit the amount of people who can come inside. I got a free glass of Cava. Would have had a bit of stollen too if not for the egg ingredient. I went inside the Selfridges food hall too. I *love* it in there. I bought a vegan (cos it's eggless) banoffee ice-cream and it was delicious. I also bought passion fruit white chocolate coated liquorice, and that was awesome. Freakin' expensive though, but I wanted to treat myself. I had lots of fun.
The other ice-cream behind the counter was actually eggless too, except the tiramisu and mince pie flavours. They had a ginger and lemon sorbet which tasted good. If you go there, you can ask to try things behind the counters, including their cheeses too.
