The better the actors, the more completely they disappear into their characters, making you forget everything they've done before.

actually yes, to me charlie sheen is more hotshots than platoon

and GodDamn, today a friend of mine wanted me to find weed for him, this is good, cus i get a piece for free. he wanted shitloads, which is even better, cus i get more for free.

i actually did, and i was seriously baffled at how bad it was.

it uses special effects and stuff, but its actually unreasonably bad, when it comes to general movie quality. it actually feels like some school project amateur movie with top hollywood actors and CG-effects.

It's just a basic cult and like religions, they get you when you are at a low point in your life. Then they friendship bomb you. Plus it's also a case of The Emperor's New Clothes, that explains why they stay there.

Then there is the case that they have sunk so much money/time/effort into, leaving would force them to confront how stupid they have been.

Or perhaps they really are that stupid to think it's doing any good.
