Actually i thought he was about to strangle the cat in that pic.

Easy with all those arms :zoinks:

Trust the cephalopod, he is innocent and loving!  He and the cat are going to be best pals!

Nooo,  look at those eyes,  he may not intend to kill that little kitty but he is saying "watch it cat"

In fact i wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't writing a ransom note with one of those arms!

Lmao.

So now i've been pegged as a Cat molestor and a Cat strangler , anymore?

I know better, little one.  I defended your goodness!

All the squid pics reminded me the Peabody Museum at Yale has a giant squid suspended from the ceiling as you walk in. I remember looking up at it every time I walked in as a kid and thinking that it would get me :hide:

^ Is that a real squid, or just a sculpture?  It looks kind of plastic.   :orly:

Plastic some other light material it's old.  I don't think there is much you could do to a real squid to preserve and do something like that.  You should see some of the stuff they have that is real though.  The have a room that's not open to the public the size of a small gym filled with cabinets containing stuffed birds from around the world on sticks.  I took ornithology and my proffession worked at Yale also and too us though it on a field trip.  I saw birds from baby penguins to ostriches some over collected over  a hundred years ago

Yikes, that room sounds creepy yet kind of fantastic as well!  Baby penguins ...
