Trendy may make that more people know about it.

But, it also makes that they take it less serious. It's not a problem, just trendy.

Well screw it, it is a problem.

Having someone say aspergers is not a disability, because you get enough intellect to make up for it, in this trendy form of autism is not helpful at all.

Of course intelligence can help. It does not overcome everything though.
