I'm a sole trader and I haven't done a tax return because I don't pay tax - I don't earn enough. Somehow I think I should have done a tax return anyway?I'm supposed to call someone at the Australian Tax Office about my Business Number. I was given a specific number via text. I've called it a bunch of times and all I get is Voicemail. I've left a message two days ago and still nothing, they haven't called me back.They use your tax return info to see if you've been using it/earned any money using it.
They're threatening to delete my ABN but I need it for work.
