I'm an amalgam of all the three things you've mentioned.

Next silly question.

Is your avatar from another happeh-bashing thread?

You're half-right; the alterations are directed towards Happeh (a.k.a. "God"), but the image is of Tony Montana (a.k.a. "Scarface") from the film Scarface.

If you recieved a potion that would make everything that happened in your dreams on one particular night come true, what would you do?  (You can control when you take the potion, or if you take it at all.)

This feels vaguely like Big Brother.

The first person I nominate is Happeh. He talks out of his arse; he creates theories without any signifcant backing, such as masturbation being bad for you and autism is an excuse, and thinks he's better than the community here since we supposedly lack any substantial ideas.
In short, he's a self-aggrandising spaz with too much time on his hands.

Second, jman. He might be getting pussy right now, but from what I remember of him on WP, he was a whiny shit.

Third, Fluorescent. He can't spell for shit, but he can spell "fluorescent" correctly. Ironic.

Quote
Is there a movie that has ever made an impact on you?

Yes: Scarface. I like how the main character stands up for himself, even though he was a criminal.

Quote
what would you do for a klondike bar?

Nothing. American candy is shit, apparently.

I tell God to go fuck himself (which it probably did on the seventh day, when god rested, the asexual plank) and that I'm the master of me.

Have you ever had to lie to anyone? If yes, why?

Well, I'm lying to you right now by saying that I never lie. Why? Because I'm soooo witty!

Friends that are genuine and who take interest in me, not the ones who befriend you for a short period of time then fucks off when they find someone "better" to improve their status. Why it makes me happy? Well, because I like to be around people who have the same interests as I do. With the exception of Vivi and my best-friend, most of these friends are online. I'm hoping to visit them someday.

What would you really like to do with your life?

I would like to expand myself, hoping that one day I would feel like a King -- my metaphor for feeling good about yourself. :)

If money for training was no object, and you found an effective way of coping with any stresses, what job would you like to do?

I'm not sure on that subject right now, but at the moment I'm currently happy with the volunteer work I am doing. Hopefully, it will give me the confidence to apply for a paid job where I'll be finally financially independant. Having a job isn't the be all and end all of human existence, sure, but it will be a handy stepping stone, I'm believe. :)

Well, I finally learned that negativity creates nothing. If you dwell on things too much, you are never going to improve. Acknowledging the faults bit by bit then moving on would be the ideal course of action. That's why the likes of you, me, and other people with shit to deal with are stronger people for it.

People slag of psychology (what do they know?), but it's people like you and my psychologist what makes the practice genuine. You saved lives, so keep it up to the best of your abilities.

I agree with you completely there- to me we all have roles that we fulfill in life (including the ones that are only for ourselves) and these are just as important, if not more so, than what paid employment we end up with.

I don't have a particular faovurite movie genre because I will like anything that is good to watch. Be it Pulp Fiction, Color Purple,  Neon Genesis Evangelion (anime), Ghost In The Shell (more anime), The Godfather Trilogy, Goodfellas, The Sorpranos, Eddie Izzard (funny guy, and I know his stand-up videos are not movies :p), Casino...

There's so many I can't think of right now. And I rather watch movies than any tv shows because it's all mostly Big Brother-esque crap now.

Do you believe that some form of morality (not the ability to accept morality, but actual moral tendencies) can be, or is, present in humans regardless of what they have been taught and exposed to?  In simplistic terms, are some morals hard-wired in some or all humans?  Elaborate on this your answer as much as you like.

It's just how the woman submits to her primal "sinful" urges that's what turns me on about it.

My current sexuality, which has truly awoken since I was 19, is weird to understand yet pleasurable at the same time. :/

Hmm... since we are speaking about sex...

Okay, oral sex. I like to watch it (blow jobs, licking pussy and all that), but I can't understand why you would lick a person's anus and genitals without using the proper precautions to stop you from getting mouth diseases. I mean, why is licking a person's ass sexy? You licking off bits of dried shit. :/

And don't you feel like vomiting when you start licking a person's dick/vagina because it's sweaty and smells of fish?

My sexuality is seriously fucked up.

I think the point that you're missing is that you're licking clean body parts.  A healthy, clean vagina smells nice, not of fish.

I was reading from a sex book I've purchased a few days ago, and it said that you're supposed to use dental dams (for anuses and vaginas) and condoms (for penises) when practising oral sex safely.

I rather do that if I'm licking my girlfriend's tight ass.

Oral sex is actually pretty safe (as far as transmission rates of HIV go), but no sex act is completely safe even using condoms/dental dams.  Use your common sense- this site has some good common sense advice : http://www.sexuality.org/concise.html

You should be asking a question where I was found out to be autistic because it's basically the same thing. Save the autistic hierarchical crap for someone elitist and narrow-minded, thanks.

I wasn't speaking nor did I behave very well as a child, so my parents took me to see a speech therapist. She was the lady who told my mother that I was showing autistic-related symptoms, and that was the first time my parents even heard of autism. I had a trio of psychiatrists who labelled me with AS when I was around 13. A waste of time that was.

How do You like Intensitysquared?

I won't be an ass here no more, ok?

All you do is cardio?

You have to warmup first, to reduce injury risk.  I would also be nice if you cooled
down after your cardio session. All that exercise is going to make muscles tighter and less flexable.

Do you stretch after your session?

No strength training?

That is true. Really, I should've streched after I've finished. But, oh well: nothing learnt, nothing gained.

Ah hah real funny.

I would suggest you do some walking first, for five or ten minutes. Catch my drift? You do what ever you are doing for exercise, but it should be done at low intensity to allow the muscles to warmup and reduce injury risk. There is not much point in doing flexablility exercise before you jog, because muscles get tight after.  If you play a sport, it would give you momentary increase in performance.  It would not last.

How was that for advice?

What should go on a pizza?

Oh, and some German:

"Wollen Sie mit mir kommen?"

Name six things you've done that Maddox would approve of.

- I own at video games.

- I stand up for my beliefs. Maddox taught me this.

- I don't believe in fitting in with crowds.

- I have a good sense of humour.

- I like manly stuff, like swords and such.

- I like Maddox's material.

i remember visiting my grandparents  often while i was a young lad.

i remember making a bee-line for their backyard.
the first thing i would do is climb their guava tree and select a few ripe ones.  then i would go lay down on their spongelike grass (dichondera) and enjoy the next 15 minutes of my life in solitude.  just me, the grass and a few guava's.

have you ever heard of guavas?  have you grown any?

Have you seen advertisment for that BBC1 tvshow looking for "the new maria" from the sound of music on broadway and do you find it creepy?
Am i the only person who is gutted the german soldiers/nazis didnt kill the bitch, just to shut her the fuck up?

Which tv shows do you watch, and which popular tv shows or person on tv makes you wanna throw a cement slab thru your tv screen?

Yes shit lame questions, but well my brains a little fried this evening.

No, and I hardly watch any tv shows either. Everything on television these days is not worth my time.

Which tv shows do you watch?

I hardly watch any shows on television. The only times when I ever use a tv is when I want to watch a dvd, a video cassette, or play one of my video game consoles.

And which popular tv shows or person on tv makes you wanna throw a cement slab thru your tv screen?

Prepare for a long list of shows/tv celebrities:

Big Brother: Why would anyone want to engross themselves into watching a bunch of strangers doing mostly fuck-all or being complete planks is way beyond my comprehension.

Graham Norton: People like him, but I don't see anything to like about him. He's just a nasty, fake piece of shit of an Irish fag who's career is based on interviewing non-entities and flaunting his homosexuality. (Who cares if you're gay? Just because you're gay and act like a female bitch towards people doesn't make you funny at all.)

Jonathan Ross: Fucking nerd piece of shit who thinks he's an expert at movies when all he's doing is reading off from an autocue.

Every British Soap Opera in existence.

Pretty much every recent television show I've watched. (Note: I did say that I was going to make a "long" list, but then I realised that I'm too lazy to do one, so fuck it.)

Yes shit lame questions, but well my brains a little fried this evening.

Since you seem to care about my "limited" experiences and virginity because I can't seem to get enough of your attacks towards these "weaknesses" of mine, why don't you save up some money for me so I can get laid by a prostitute?

That way, I'll definitely be on par with those who think they have the "advantage" compared to the likes of me, such as yourself.

No but I am seeing a person from the 'Employee Support Services' via work,
which is a kind of counselling/psychology service.  Each employee is entitled to 16 sessions

We have been working on my anger management techniques - evidently a lot more work needed!  :D

I have seen psychologists, psychiatrists and counsellors in the past, so I am familiar with the drill

No probs Peegai, i cant even remember what i asked, so your replies should be all the more fun to read. ;D

Those smiley pics were embarrassingly bad lol smiling is so icky for me especially teeth showing smiles, but it was to prove a point ie that the ice maiden can indeed crack a smile when motivated. ;) many thanks to the certain person who provided the motivation for those smiley pics with their ridiculous pathetic posts that made me grin from ear to ear and nearly caused me to piss myself laughing. ;D

As for the bloke, he ran out of luck and got kicked to the kerb. (metaphorically speaking of course) I mean i couldnt do it literally whilst he was in London and i was in Glasgow, my legs are long but not quite that long. ;)

Thanks though. :)

How did the decorating go?

Also no probs, take your time.

No, it's the honest truth. I just miss the atmosphere and my friends online.

I'll try and answer them this week.

Well, I thought it makes a change from the usual "olos show us yer boobs" from internet pervs that are desperate to get laid.

That's a shame. Hopefully, you'll run into someone that you have more in common with, and less of the long-distance crap.

I don't know why, but I can't seem to be arsed to pursue a relationship with the opposite sex, even though I'm attracted to them. I just feel that my sexual impulses alone won't be enough to get the best out of whatever relationship I'm in. Besides, when it comes to my interests, I'm a selfish person at heart -- they come first.

How did the decorating go?

I wasn't involved in the decorating business (they didn't need me), but my mother doesn't like the paint colour very much, so they'll probably sort it out, along with a new carpet, in a few weeks time.

None of the kids come to our door. I think their mums and dads tell them to stay clear of the funny men with long hair that are never out. Besides, I usually have a nice big pot of chip fat on the hob, just in case I need to ummm...wash the step by the front door, you know?

Anyway, I remember sitting one night with Run To the Hills by Iron Maiden blasting out my speakers on a Friday night and some wee bastards started chibbing stones at my window, I switched the music off and I ehard them shouting "TURN THAT FUCKING OFF...WHAT ARE YOU, A FUCKING GOTH OR SOMETHING?!".

I've probably already mentioned this on here.

Naturally I ran out and gave the entire 25 of them a right good fucking kicking.

I love the first two albums with Paul singing...top class stuff. There's a brilliant from the guitars on the Killers album especially.

Have you heard any Paul Dianno solo stuff? The sad bastard brought out a christmas album lol.

His stuff is trully appalling. In fact he got bottled off stage in India last week because him and the rest of the band were using rather colourful language ;)

He done one under the name of ASAP (Adrian Smith And Project) called Silver and Gold. I think that had Zack Starkey on drums (Ringo Starrs lad?).

Then there was Psycho Motel, an album called Welcome To the World. The singer on that album though sounded a bit like Layne Staley of Alice In Chains and John Bush of Anthrax :)

Well, both really lol

I'm mor efamiliar with the Silvr and Gold album though. Just easy going rock music, no flashy stuff or anything though.

I can actually picture Jeremy Clarkeson driving around some remote part of Scotland to it to be honest.

At least a song called The Lion...brilliant! :)

Are you going to be reviewing the Sega Satrun Dragon force?  Have you already completeed it?  And, lastly, if both of the answers are yes, did you hear the outtakes at the very end?

I'll try to, but I find it rather diffcult to concentrate at typing stuff out on this computer downstairs when I have too many distractions going on: sister and her boyfriend, parents encouraging the baby, annoyances like that. I try to avoid making lengthy posts these days because I'll end up having an argument with my family over it.

As for Dragon Force, I've completed it back in the late nineties -- all eight campaigns. I felt like giving it another go again, after all these years.

And what "outtakes"? I don't know what you mean.

And what "outtakes"? I don't know what you mean.

if you wait for the end of the credits and just let it keep rolling, there are outtakes from the voice actors that get played.

How've you been doing lately?

Eh, I've been better. I'm not really on good terms with my sister at the moment. I know it may sound cruel and selfish, but I wish that she would hurry up and leave the house to take up residence somewhere else.

I'll be a lot happier once I get some peace around here.

So what if it does sound a little selfish?  Never having proper time to yourself, without other people's noise, is enough to drive anyone crazy.

It doesn't help much when I take in residence in the attic with an open staircase either -- I got no door to shut myself in.

I'm sorry, but my sister getting pregnant again -- by a guy my parents really dislike because he had gambling addictions in the past -- is fucking selfish, in my book. What about my mother's condition? Has she even thought about my mother's stress level while she got pregnant again? If you want to start a family, fine. Do it somewhere else.

Nope. I didn't want to move up there in the first place. I only did it because of Macie.

what i meant by this....to clarify from the other thread about deleting accounts is that, if you are going to be a cutting edge administrator it gets to be very exhausting.  you are constantly having to answer for your behaviour.
ask eamonn.  we were both extremely exhausted after a short period of time.

Here you are -- an urban definition:

Quote

A person affected by a genetical disease whose symptoms include: an ugly pale skin covered with gross, disgusting stains called "freckles", an extreme sensitivity to sun that causes their epiderm to burn and rot off when exposed to sun, and an unusual and monster-like colour of their hair, wich resembles demonic flames and scares off little childrens and nuns.
Other side-effects of this disease are the complete lack of soul, and the habit of eating living kittens or even suck blood from people at night. Roughly 70% of the ginger individuals will die in 1-3 hours when exposed to sun or holy symbols.
There's no cure except for euthanasy, wich is still illegal in many european states tough, where ginger-disease affected individuals are more common due to genetical failure of the caucasian race.

Example 1: Still in the 21st century, genetic diseases affect a large percentile of the population, like diabetes, hemophily, obesity, cancer and gingers.

Example 2: During middle-ages lepers and gingers were not allowed inside cities, and people shunned contact with them.

Example 3: John has contracted AIDS, proably he was infected by a ginger that sucked his blood off last night.

It's true: I eat them kittahs. :3

Hey Py. I'm not hanging around long, but at least I'll answer your query.

The course starts tomorrow -- though I had to book two taxi journeys to get there and to get back home. I'm a bit disappointed that the Dial-A-Ride service couldn't fit me in in their schedule just as I booked a journey prior to the actual day. Oh well, at least I know how to handle taxi services now.

Have you read my thread about cumfarts, and, if, would you consider cumfarts sexy if they just came from a really beautiful woman?  8)

No, I didn't. And no, because I haven't had the pleasure of having sex yet.

That's because the rest of the world don't view it negatively unlike the UK for the majority of the time.

They develop these particular complexes due to the negativity they receive from people, especially in school. Personally, I think that women with natural red-hair get away with it more than males do (then again, there has been female suicides associated with the colour of their hair).

It is kinda of- the decisions will be made by the world council (and the wider membership as a whole), but we will have caretaker admins who will be elected from the WC members. And I agree with Mcjagger I think you'd be a great admin too, which is why we need you in the WC.

Well, since Canderel didn't answer your query, and that this a thread where people ask questions to ME, I'll answer it myself.

I have fantasies where I want to be some final boss fighting against the protagonists, who defend the world which I want to destroy because I'm evil incarnate, with a kick-ass music theme, HP up max, ultra-hard difficulty (I AM hard), special moves with OTT animation that lasts for nearly two minutes, and to be able to ask inquisitive phrases, such as "...Why do you defend this world?" or "Don't you realise that your efforts are futile?".

Dirty and disgusting because it's an uncanny video-game geek fetish, but I love it. ;)

There's the option of City of Bristol college, but I don't want to go back there. Apart from the studying, I had a shit time making friends there because I was a freak to them and I was quiet.

Making friend is always a difficult one- I know people say you don't need to view it as somewhere you want to make friends, you can just keep yourself to yourself and get on with it, but I know how awful it can be feeling like the freak that no-one will talk to- it makes it hard to concentrate on what you need to get done.

It was fairly amusing- there was a committed christian who decided that at 42 she was sick of waiting to loose her virginity and so hired a male 'escort' to do the job.  There was a squeaky little scottish guy who's own mother thought he was gay- he had a friend who was coaching him in how to pick up women but he gave up after some pissed up woman told him to 'fuck off' (it didn't help that the chat up line his 'coach' had given him was 'Hi, are you friendly?').  I felt really sorry for the third guy though- he caught glandular fever after his first real kiss and it left him disabled- he was 49 and lost his virginity to an escort who specialises in older virgins.

I wasn't serious anyway- just providing an example of what you might possible have to fear from posting your cock pic to show that there isn't really anything likely to happen to fear. Guess my humour fell flat again.

A parody based on the fact that I type behind a computer which apparently makes me a coward -- because I'm not being my REAL myself.

We are not allowed to talk about Peaguy on here. Simply talking about him is apparently a new non-negotiable for Odeon and may result in banning. Odeon will throw a hissy fit if we do not treat Peaguy like persona non grata.

Isn't that right Herr Odeon?

I am really not sure (and i am being perfectly honest). I think Odeon may be able to answer and yet fit within the boundaries of his own censorious rules and to be honest those rules likely do not apply to him anyway. (Such is the way of petty tyrants).

Be warned though, he will play the victim and lie. If he starts the explanation where Peaguy was doing the wrong thing and he was innocently minding his own business, suspect high grade bullshit.

Pea is a good person, prickly in temper, fiercely loyal and protective of his friends and yes, pretty funny when his humor really gets going.  We've been online friends for a few years now and chat pretty regularly on FB or Google chat.  I'd love to do skype calling, but our ancient PC does not have the capability.  He's friends with my daughter and wife as well.  Sadly there are just some bridges that can never be rebuilt, as long as paranoia rules the mind.  I'm proud of the fact that I was able to give him some voice here for a short time, by cutting and pasting messages from chat in certain topics here, even a couple of his videos.  But, I'm sure they have all been quietly deleted since.   ::)

I think the main takeaway is that Pea is a good bloke. Odeon has made some unwritten rules around pea with "interesting" interpretations of old rules. He has been vague and suggestive rather than explicit as to what the punishment of such incursions would be.

If it does sound unreasonable, dickish, authoritarian, dishonest, underhanded, unfair, petty, tyrannical and/or slimy of Odeon. I would not disagree with any of such an assessment.  I just do not know how anyone but Odeon could put a positive spin on his behaviour or justify it.

It's my understanding it's fine to talk about him, but he's banned, so circumventing the ban by posting for him or otherwise allowing him access, is what's not allowed.

I can, in a certain way, see odeon's POV, Pea let his emotions run wild and he knows it and accepts it.  But, I also see the good side in anyone, despite what happened to me.  I'm wary of people, but, I do not let paranoia run my life.  If I do have a spasm of paranoia, it happens then disapates once I get it off my chest.   If he asks me to post something for him again, I will happily do so.  But, he has since moved on since then.  So I doubt it will happen again.

No, Odeon. It is not always on everyone else to fit in with YOUR shitty behaviour. You are a complete asshat and you can say to Ozy, "You never used to be..."

Ozy has not changed. YOU have. Ozy doesn't need to make concessions nor alter his behaviour. YOU do. You are not the man you once were and to be frank, the Odeon of today I would not piss on if you were on fire. You have a lot of cheek trying to project your ineptitudes on him or me or anyone else, you slimy little bottom feeder.

I do not know what cause the change and I am not crying about it. I would probably not give you the time of day were you to suddenly become a saint. But if you project your own faults condescendingly on every other member here (or Hell, even select members) I am going to throw it back in your face. I do not care if it is explicit, implicit, minor, major, or even worth the effort to do so. I will do it every time I see it. Same goes for your lies. Same goes for you generally being a piece of shit. It probably goes without saying but calling me a bigot on here will get you being called a rapist by me, every time. If people search this place and through your constant calling me a bigot, wrongly associate that smear with me, they will have the same chance of associating you with being a rapist. Its fair. This is all of YOUR making, Odeon, all of it, regardless projections on others.

Both of these two things are correct.

It is not just that Pea is not allowed to have a voice on here, whatever he means exactly by that, (look in the rules and tell me exactly where that is), but mentioning Pea gets him fired up. Same way that mentioning Muslims, Muslim immigrants, Muslim radical extremists, gets him excited.

I have no issues with Pea, he was OK on the Drivel. I wish him well.

But, he did make it clear what INTENSE was on I2. Was not long after I joined here. Massive mess.

Dammit, the whole site was spammed with nasty pictures with the help of someone outside I2. Site was not usable with all that shit. Not sure if my memory is right in thinking the content was stuff that could have gotten I2 shut down.

No matter how much of an OK bloke you can be, after shit like that a ban is the most sensible outcome. A ban is a ban. That that means no membership by proxy seems logical to me.

And no matter how much of an OK bloke someone is. With rogue actions like that, consequences will happen.

If he urgently needs to talk to someone in person, via someone else, there is PM, private message. If it needs to be done in public, there is FB. Oh, and there is mail, phone, skype and more ways to communicate.

If people search this place and through your constant calling me a bigot, wrongly associate that smear with me, they will have the same chance of associating you with being a rapist. Its fair. This is all of YOUR making, Odeon, all of it, regardless projections on others.

Actually, you diving head first into what doesn't concern you is YOUR making. You trying to start a fight whenever and wherever is YOUR making. It will stop now, though, because while I am patient, I won't ever be a saint.

Enjoy the sinbin.

If Pea wants to communicate with someone whose only known online presence is here, I can see (though I'm sure odeon would not be thrilled- but since this is kind of happening anyway, let's be pragmatic) the case being made for someone who is in touch with Pea passing *Pea's* contact info along to that person via PM.  And that person would either return contact, or not.  Either way, there would no longer be a need for this site as a form of communication between the two.

It's really not rocket science.

Shleed doesn't know the actual definition of an incel, much less fascist or far-right.

Peaguy is MGTOW which is voluntary. That would make him a vocel, not an incel.

Truth be told, Pea can score pussy easier than Shleed can. He just lucked out and found the only female on earth who would fuck him.

FFS. Scrap might be a fascist, but that's certail;y not a Fascist opinion.  I thought it was long-ago  established that support for Brexit has bugger-all to do with Fascism, but you appear to have missed that debate.  Most Brexiters are in fact left-wing, and largely belong to the least privileged classes.   I think this extract from a 2017 article in The Socialist explains it pretty well:

Quote

A referendum is a binary choice between yes and no, which means inevitably there are many different motivations behind people voting on each side. Nonetheless, the size of the working class vote for Leave represented - in essence - a revolt, a cry of rage, against the low pay, cuts in public services and insecure housing that have become the norm for the majority.

Some have tried to deny this but the most detailed exit poll at the time of the referendum shows otherwise. It found that Remain voters were a majority only in the AB social group (professionals and managers), by 57% to 43%, while 64% of working class C2DE voters backed Leave. Two-thirds of council and housing association tenants voted Leave, as well as a majority of the unemployed, and two-thirds of those retired on a state pension.

The official campaigns - both for Leave and Remain - sounded a relentless drumbeat that this was a referendum on immigration, which inevitably had a certain effect. Nonetheless, it is not true that migration was the main issue for exit voters in the referendum. Nor is that the case now.

A recent opinion poll by Opinium, published in part in the liberal Independent and in full in the right-wing Daily Express, asked people to rate out of ten the most important issues for them in the Brexit negotiations. The highest at 8.31 was "ensuring the UK's public services are well-funded" followed by "ensuring jobs are available in the UK" at 8.28.

"Reducing the number of people immigrating to the UK" scored 6.88 - so it was an issue, but was thirteenth out of the twenty-two issues listed, and only one place ahead of "ensuring that EU citizens already in the UK are able to stay" on 6.78 (which Jeremy is correctly promising to guarantee).

Socialist exit

Corbyn could have harnessed much of the anger and determination of leave voters had he campaigned for exit on a socialist basis, explaining that the EU is a neoliberal bosses' club that forbids nationalisation and systematically undermines workers' rights.

This could have been linked to the need for a completely different confederation of Europe, based on socialism. Such an approach would have transformed the character of the whole referendum, winning many who voted remain because they were repelled by the 'little Englanders' of Ukip and the Tories.

Disagree if you want, but anyone who simply doesn't want to have sex isn't automatically a vocel. Are asexuals vocel? No. You might think they are because technically they do not want to have sex, but they don't subscribe to the attitudes or rhetoric that identifies them as being vocel. Vocels do it due to their hatred of women because of bad experiences in the past eg. not getting sex to begin with, or simply having far too high of standards of what they expect from women, which is why it's practically just incel in denial. They use the exact same rhetoric too.

Same with incels - not being able to get sex doesn't automatically make you one, again it's the attitude and rhetoric.

It's basically the whiny mantra, "nice guys finish last", wrapped up in different forms.
Title: Re: Ask the reformed peaguy something.

I din't even say anyone who doesn't want to have sex is a vocel, but you seem to be saying there really is no such thing and they're kidding themselves because no one wants them anyway, and now you're saying negative crap about hating women. The person I know just doesn't want kids, so much so they're not wiling to take any risk, and haven't made the leap into surgery. Maybe because there's actually still a risk. :dunno: You're being really judgmental.

Same. Nor do I want to paint all celibate women with that same negative brush.

I read a bit of  history of the incel movement awhile back. Turns out the Incel boards were quite friendly , civilised places to start with , sometimes run by women, and with quite a number  of women members. But then all the civilised members felt the need to distance themselves from  the jerks who now claim ownership of  that word.

I guess the same will happen with vocel.  Seems you can't wait, Wretch.

So celibacy is well on its way to being a dirty word, it seems.   And soon we'll all have to all pretend to have hot sex lives whether we're really interested in sex or not, hmm? just like a bunch of adolescent virgins trying to impress our mates.  Just to make it clear that we're not grudgeful nutters.

Well done, an urban dictionary entry, totes beaten me!   :facepalm2:

Again, look up the "manosphere" and how it all relates to one another. From there you can see how vocels are really just incels in denial. You often see the same unrealistic expectations/stereotypes of women. You'll also see a lot of anti-masturbation rhetoric too.

Also, a lot of self-proclaimed vocels are MGTOW, which if you look into it, is pretty cringey and incel in its own right:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Men_Going_Their_Own_Way

you talk just as if all vocels are men.
unconscious sexism?  :green:

as for Urban Dictionary: well, it seems that vocel hasn't made into the oxford english Dictionary yet, so where else should i look to find out the common/accepted usage of the word? That definition had a good few upvotes, and the next best was very similar.   So, it definitely beats "Schleed and his mates" in terms of reliabilty, I should say

They generally are, yes. I don't think that's sexist to point out, especially when again, MGTOW is a vocel movement. You're just being blatantly stupid and dishonest now.

Urban dictionary are no different to my anecdotes, but you only have to look up the likes of MGTOW to see for yourself on how they're practically incels in denial.

This is the first time I ever heard about MGTOW, so I haven't' said anything about that, except to make a joke. I looked up manosphere on wikipedia and it doesn't say anything about voluntary celibates. I'm not saying there's no such thing as celibate woman haters who couldn't get a woman if they wanted to. I just don't feel the need to paint all celibate men with the same negative brush.  :dunno:

I can't find a single thing which paints the word volcel the way you have, maybe that will change but for now I'm fine with accepting it's an abbreviated term for voluntary celibate for various reasons and that's exactly what it means according to the interwebs. MGTOW does seem to have more to it, so maybe it's like squares and rectangles. MGTOWs are vocels, but not all volcels are MTOW.  :dunno:

I agree the whole conflict here might be because the word incel already has such a bad wrap. I guess it's worth considering the terms are similar because they're actually related in negativity even though I can't find any evidence of it, and one term is simply bad due to having any association whatsoever to the other.  :orly:

Same. I put a shedload of Googling into
just being blatantly stupid and dishonest
more fool me  (could have easily done that off the top of my head).  Urban Dictionary's top definition of Incel is right in line with what wretch (and the rest of us) think.  By contrast, UD's  definition of vocel is completely non-prejudicial.  What's more, there seems to be no self-defined "vocel community", unlike incels,  so, right now,  its a label that is put on you by others, not a label that you own.  If you happen to be voluntarily celibate, can you reasonably say "Oh no! Im not vocel?"" Going by currently  available definitions (leaving wretch's definition aside) that would be nonsensical, much  like saying "No I'm not a Tory, i'm a member of the Conservative party"

Urban dictionary are no different to my anecdotes, but you only have to look up the likes of MGTOW to see for yourself on how they're practically incels in denial.
yeah , I  did, actually.  And that doesn't affect the definition of vocel.

Anyway, I'm through with this little discussion now.   Started off as a bit of friendly banter, would have much preferred it to stay that way.

so, right now,  its a label that is put on you by others, not a label that you own.

I'm thinking you might be right about that. The wikipedia page for incel has this in the lexicology, which inplies incels may have created the term volcel.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incel#Lexicology
Quote
"Members of incel communities use many variations of the term "incel" to refer to subgroups within the community, such as "volcels" (voluntary celibate; someone who chooses to forego sexual intercourse), "fakecels" (those who claim to be incel, but in reality have recently had sex or been in a relationship), and "truecels" (true incels; men who have never had any sexual or romantic encounters).

Only one of the source links after that quote seems to be related to volcel but does have this.
Quote
Truecel: A moniker used for “true incels,” or men who have never had any sexual or romantic contact with a woman. These men believe they will always be an incel regardless of any changes they implement to improve themselves. This term functions as the opposite of “fakecels” (fake incels) and “volcels” (voluntary celibates), who are looked down upon in the incel community.

Volcel (also known as “Fakecel”): A term describing a person who is voluntarily celibate, and therefore does not fulfill the criteria of inceldom. Incels believe that these people could have sex if they wanted to, whereas “truecels” have no hope for finding sexual partners. “Volcels” are viewed as frauds and are not accepted by the incel community.

It's like Dunc's Law for celibates.  :zoinks:

Interesting. How does that philosophy apply to federally regulated health and safety organization such as the FDA and OSHA? Nothing read seems to speak to public safety outside of physical and legal protection from aggression. Also, is that philosophy only specific to the federal government, or is it also opposed an individual state or municipality's responsibility to provide education and social services to those who might not otherwise afford them?

MGTOWs are generally misogynistic losers. As is most of the manosphere. A bookstore near where I work had to put up signs to ward off PUAs (one of the dodgiest parts of the manosphere) because it was near a PUA "school".

Black pill incels mostly hate themselves rather than women.

I don't think Pappy is an incel, it's more a case of needing to be secretive about his preferences.

Gave up some time ago trying to understand by reading what libertarian even is. There's too many schools of thought spanning across the political spectrum to ever feel like really getting it. Although encounters with people who claim to be libertarian is different, because what actually seemed important to them was personal liberty based in freedom from government controls which basically protect people from themselves. That's hard to argue against.

The difference is the likes of minarchists/ancaps want to be anally raped by corporations with minimal to no government control, while the likes of libertarian socialists are more into worker co-ops, handing over the means of production to workers etc. with minimal to no government control.

I'd say I'm more demsoc as I still feel some level of government is needed to ensure a working democratic system, but married with socialist ideals. It also needs to go through a social democracy stage to "wean" society off capitalism. This is the complete opposite to what is seen in the previous USSR, China etc. as they are authoritarian and state capitalist at best.

That's a bit vague, so similar question as given to Scrap. What government control over the means of production? How does that apply to things like federal Environmental Protection Agency standards, or the Department of Labor standards for worker health and safety, minimum wages, and unemployment insurance?

If the government controls the means of production then it's not socialism. It's state capitalism. The USSR was state capitalism.

Environmental and safety regulations are regulations, not control. Wages and unemployment insurance are not an issue when workers own and control the means of production for the benefit of workers rather than for the benefit of a wealthy few.

In a libsoc system, stuff like wages, workers rights etc. are determined by the workers themselves rather than a centralised government. They could even appoint representatives to enable this on a larger scale, but it's always done in the interests of the workers. I personally think this may not work very well unless it was a long term goal, hence my desire to keep a government in place to ensure a democratic system and to help enforce standards in workers rights etc.

They would also all share part of what company they're working for - there would be no "boss" so to speak hence the co-op aspect, meaning they all get a direct say and slice of whatever the company makes in terms of money. It's basically democracy down to an industrial level.

Worker co-ops already exist and have been fairly successful so far (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mondragon_Corporation). They're much less likely to go bankrupt/close down, more resilient to economic problems and income can be on average higher. Pay inequality is much lower too.

I don't buy into libertarianism, as I said already I think it's a trojan horse for effective oligarchy. Even without going down the path of actual libertarianism, by pushing the idea that libertarianism is good and libertarianism is all about more freedom, you end up with a population that is primed for the removal of government policies and institutions that serve the public good.

But it's a complete ideology, or rather a range of complete ideologies. A typical libertarian doesn't believe in things like minimum wages, most government regulation on businesses, welfare. Many don't believe in publicly funded education at any age.

Fair enough. Used to work managing safety compliance and know first hand how easy it is for a business to overlook or be unaware of some very basic but important things. Developed an appreciation for OSHA standards because they're so clear and consist. at least in that particular industry. and no one balks at a person who is implementing federal standards, as apposed to someone who's just making stuff up.

So who chooses the government agencies and what stops those government agencies from becoming corrupt tools of the corporate sector?

How about education? Is education to be government funded or will education be fully private and privately funded?

It's a bit like the billionaire who asks a woman at a party "would you sleep with me for a million dollars?" and the woman says "I suppose that I would". So the billionaire asks "would you sleep with me for ten dollars?" and the woman responds "what sort of lady do you think I am?". The billionaire replies "We've already established what sort of woman you are, now we are just haggling over the price".

If you believe in government control over private individuals and entities in some circumstances, and in governments being able to collect some form of tax to pay for that control, then the difference between you and I is the circumstances and form of that government control that we think is justifiable and necessary.
