Thanks to Rage, I've found out Felcher has been telling people that I've sent him a topless pic of myself. Obviously this is untrue. I'm not the type of person who would ever send people nude pics of myself to people. I'm just not :viking: enough, but if I was, Felcher is the last person I'd ever send them to.
A couple of nights ago he was annoying me, and I was drunk at the time, so I sent him a pic of somebody else. He knew that it wasn't a pic of me, although I do admit that it was a slightly stupid thing for me to do. I can be pretty stupid when I'm sober, but I'm just plain dumb when I'm drunk.
I've already mentioned this on another thread, but I'm starting this thread for anybody who hasn't read the other thread and actually thinks I would lower myself to send a nude pic to Felcher.
So, just to reiterate. These pics are not of me. It was a bad joke. Felcher knew this from the start, and he has been telling lies to try and make himself look good.
The top pic is the pic I sent to Felcher. The bottom pic is just for anybody that wants to look at titties

I don't really think that's a nice attitude. If someone is feeling dispair, then the last thing I'd want to do is add to their dispair. People commit suicide for many reasons and although I might not agree with their decision, I realize that they must have felt very unhappy to have made that choice. I am a very happy person in general, but I can't help feeling bad for people who are unhappy. Also, remember that depression is an illness that effects a lot of people, and I can't imagine the hopelessness that some of these people must feel.

I can kind of understand that from some of the things you've said about your life. I do feel bad for you, and I hope for your sake you manage to find a way out of your depression.
Depresssion can effect people from all sorts of different situations and backgrounds. My aunt appears to have everything. A good family, lovely house, money and an all round great life. Everybody who meets her thinks she seems happy, but she suffers badly from depression, and although I don't think she'd ever kill herself, she has spoken about having suicidal thoughts and about how unhappy she is, and how much of a struggle it is for her to get through each day. She's had therapy on and off for about 10 years and she doesn't seem to be any better.

You are absolutely right. I didn't want to be wrong, but you know, I was in the wrong. I feel like I've abused the kindness of eris and some other people here way too often. Really, I was afraid that she would not forgive me if I apologized to her.
I'm going to apologize to her publicly in the callout thread.

I am going to go out on a limb here and tell you something else. I think a big part of why you are depressed has to do with your own self image. See it doesn't matter as to what others think as much as what it matters to you. I take plenty of unpopular positions. Just not ones that are not in line with my values or morality.
Putting it another way. You think you did wrong, it does not matter whether eris will think you did or whether she even accpts your apology. She is not obliged but your values dictate that you are. You are not doing it for her as much as you, so in a sense it doesn't matter the fuck what she says.
Keep looking for ways to fit in with what YOU believe is right and you will feel a bit more respect for you.

If you make a sincere, appropriate apology to someone, your debt is paid. What the other person does about your apology is on their conscience. One apology is enough. Running after someone saying, "I'm sorry," is demeaning (something I learned the hard way.)
"Joe, I'm sorry I called you an idiot. It wasn't right. Forgive me?"
Not, "Joe, I'm sorry I called you an idiot. My girl and I broke up, I think my cat's pregnant and I've got blue balls." Is not an apology. It shifts the focus from what you did to justifying your action and making the other person feel sorry for you.

Also, this was one of the very first threads I ever read on I2, it was still current when I joined. It was a great first impression :D
