Would you join the mix or be disgusted by the prospect?
-
I would take the be disgusted option McJ.
-
What if all the "fuck buddies" he chose were pretty much disgusting?
-
What if was a same sex partner?
-
Two of the reasons I chose to marry PA is that I was sure he wouldn't screw around on me or sexually abuse a child. And yes, I know nothing is a certainty. These were important qualities for me.
-
What if was a same sex partner?
No. Any woman that wants to fuck ANYONE else is not mine. YMMV.

sounds fair, I agree

He has one already. His wife. :o

I was expecting this monogamy talk from Americans, but I thought Europeans were a little less puritanical when it came to sex. A little more open minded?
-
I do not have any real problems with people deciding mutually for menage a trios to spice things up or in uncommitted relationships or in pre-decided multi-partnered arrangements. But that is not the same as saying "We would you cop to that, yourself?"
To me it is like saying, "So you have no problem with people being gay, right?" Nope. "Well then would you screw a bloke?" Nope.
-
From the little I've seen, when one member of a couple gets really close to someone else, that someone else often has some opposite traits to the partner and they really don't get along. I've speculated that it's because the second person is filling whatever gaps in their life that the partner can't fill. If they can't get along out of bed, I don't see it being likely improved by getting in bed.

i think that being gay is an attraction to the same sex. Having sex with another bloke, might just be having sex with another bloke.
I wouldn't rule it out.

Honestly the older I get the more I envy CBC.
I could have avoided a hell of a lot of stress in life by keeping my legs crossed.

What if was a same sex partner?
Depends on how they met, and if I just walked in on such a thing. I don't like THOSE kind of surprises and would be pretty upset.

For once, we agree.

For once, we agree.
We agree on more than you are willing to admit. It conflicts with your persona of unlimited outrage at everything you see, but inside you and I have commonality.

Partner with another fuck buddie?
hypothetically:
Would not be able to stop the partner, I guess. Hope the partner would be having safe sex. Would insist on safe sex then myself too. There is no stopping a partner from falling in love, or being attracted. Would it work in a relationship? No idea, would depend on how deep the other relationship would grow, I guess, and on how it would affect the relationship.
I don't see myself capable of having sexual relationships with more than one person at a time. Sex, somehow is connected with bonding for me. And having more than one significant other would blow my mind off. Not enough social skills for that. Would do my brains in. At the moment life is socially demanding enough without a partner.
A friend I used to have was a bigamist. Worked well for years. Two kids with the two women too. The women had no problems with this. Practical reasons was why one of the women told her partner to choose just one family to live with. Both women knew their partner was one who would have flings where ever he went. So, yes, it is possible. For the really socially talented, I guess.

I wouldn't stay with such a partner. I don't share. :M :P
