See, here we were nagging for months, Vodzy comes back and that very day, he co-operates.

Good boy.

Although, I have this sneaking feeling the shot was taken after a very 'adventurous' night...and you are definitely on a chicks bed.

Good on you for being generous with the penis shot. x

You're welcome. :zoinks:

I just got back from a vacation to thailand and cambodia - this was taken in a beach bungalow I was staying at on koh rong island near sihanoukville, southern cambodia. I'd say it's a unisex bed with a tropical theme (which also explains the pink thing above the bed - it's a mosquito net). I have a better one of my chest though it's all rib, not much muscle. Also a full cock n balls shot, if you'd like.

Now, if I were you Vodzy, I'd remove it before Schleed or Butterflies gets a hold of that shot!

I'm not afraid of the internets, else I'd defer from posting in the public area of the forum in the 1st place.

How lovely of you to offer more shots of your cock. Feel free. There is actually a thread for it in the sex forum, where you can show up all the wimpy guys WHO DID NOT post their cock, balls or ass.

Am beginning to see why a lot of them don't hang around though.

Just think maybe the callout stuff should not be visivble until you have made so many posts.  I was lucky when i joined as there wasn't
much going on.

I must admit that i worry sometimes, about posting stuff  - in case it is taken the wrong way and i get a 'call out'  so i am sure
it must make others hesitate about wether they ought to bother posting.

I would poop my pants if someone like Sir Les called me out -  think i would unplug internet for a while! -  like several years lol

Mmm, a lot of callouts are actually in threads themselves. I do remember getting absolutely reamed a few times not long after I first joined when I voiced my opinions on stuff.

Plus there were a few pretty volatile incidents that I probably found really upsetting at the time, and not sure quite how to tackle.

In fact, it was only in one post today that I really bit my tongue hard on something, probably for the first time I recall, and that is the beauty of being here....often I will have said something, and realise that there is another perspective, or I will say something off the cuff, not realising that I'll be called out on it later on.

I actually think the callouts are a bit more tamer than they used to be.

I think you just need to be the most authentic version of yourself. Though, that's not to say that everyone else operates under that mode, because clearly, they do not. I also know that sometimes a callout is for pure shits and giggles, rather than an issue that you want to call someone out for their bullshit on...identifying the difference is the big thing. For example, I know Schleed is just a sarcastic cunt to me because he wants a rise, but if I nab someone, it may be unintentional, but I'll meet the challenge on my opinion. eris is a good example of that. Or sometimes, I get sick of someone's hypocricy, and feel unable to keep my mouth shut.

Odeon tried to call me out once, and I simply ignored it, he was being a wanker and I knew it was not going to resolve anything and just be a waste of time.

yes thats a good way of describing it.

i think, even though this site is in english, sometimes words and phrases can confuse things

for example

'backing yourself up'  or 'backing up your shit'  -  it means something different where i come
from.  It means have you got enough muscle to do some damage,  and are you hard enough
to fight me?  'back up' also means getting a firm together and kicking shit out of someone.
It means enough words, lets see what your made of..

so, when i see the words, i find it hard to relate to the fact that you mean 'just words'

'that is just what it means isn't it?'  I automatically associate it with violence.  that makes me
feel edgy.  that's why i don't read the callouts much.

good idea about ignoring a callout though, like you said you did with Odeon.  I think i would
deflect to the 'other side'   :zoinks:

I do like you Bodie.
Do not worry about what you post. Be you and be confident in being you.
If it helps. Eclair is right, this place used to be a lot more visceral. It felt to me as a noob very exciting because it seemed there would be a slow build up of forums angst over some crap and slow dividing of opinions and suddenly it was on and bad blood spilled and washed away and everyone would settle down and new friendships formed and dirty laundry aired and misunderstandings cleared and a new respect for a different opinion or a better understanding of what others felt about things good or bad.
Naturally I fucking loved it.
I will say that us longer term members have mellowed a lot. Hell there was a time that I had probably had at least one or two arguments with something like 90% of the active membership at some point. I doubt I would have had bad words with 30% of them now.
I do like the callouts but what you are probably going to be surprised about is i am not overly in my element in them. I don't shy away from them if I think them necessary and if so I always go this track, but my enjoyment of callouts usually comes in watching others go hammer and tongs. I sit back read and laugh or nod and award karma and post inanely in the peanut gallery.

I tend to post to the left myself, because the way my chair is set up in relation to the computer desk, I am directly in front of the left side

Good one.  I think that the guy who told the TSA agent that if he touched his junk then he was going to have him arrested wasn't allowed to fly that day.

IF you always say what you mean, and have a little conviction in yourself, I dont see how ANYONE could touch you. I think the only time someone gets in trouble with themselves is when they talk out of their ass.

Brainfarts?

Good one.  I think that the guy who told the TSA agent that if he touched his junk then he was going to have him arrested wasn't allowed to fly that day.

The youtube disappeared.

But it did say things about you, that you ignored the callout. You didn't back up your shit and to me that is sometimes just as telling.

Excuse me?

I've just looked in the Main Event, and Main Event callouts...can't see it. From memory, you were pissed because some comment was made about your children, and despite Soph saying that obviously someone was trying to get a rise out of you, and you should ignore it...you kept on and kept attacking Soph...

that's my vague memory of it.

What shit exactly did I have to back up? That you refused to comprehend Soph's point?

Don't try and start shit Odeon that YOU can't back up. You were emotional, which was understandable, but every time Soph or I tried to say 'look, just ignore it' you attacked us.

I could be completely wrong on my memory of that, but starting shit that I don't back myself up is just bullshit, and you know it.

This bodie, is an example of a shits and giggles callout. Odeon logged off after reading my response.

Odeon, if you have a problem with me, a specific thing that you think I am not backing my shit on, then feel free to call me out. But make sure it's serious, as I was unaware there was some piece of grit in your shell about me.

Actually stuff in real life happened so my session timed out.

My argument is very simple: if you ignore a callout, the fact that you did so will also tell things about you, like it or not. You have only a vague memory of the whole thing, yet you dismiss me as a "wanker" in that callout and state that it wasn't worth replying to. You mention the whole incident as an example of the things one can do instead of replying, instead of backing your shit up.

Yet you label my comment here as a shit and giggles callout because I "logged off" instead of replying right away.

You can't have it both ways, Eclair.

If you have a problem with *me*, call me out. Don't just dismiss an old thread as me being a wanker or this new one as something for the lulz. Cos I'm thinking that maybe you do have a problem with me but would prefer to have me call out you instead of the other way around.

See, Bodie, how this works?

Well, I'm sorry, but yes, I do think you were being over emotional, attacking Soph, and then me for trying to translate what she meant.

I ignored the callout? ...'ignore' is a strong word...but I chose not to come into it, because you were clearly emotional because the attack involved your children, and it would be pointless to enter a debate when I was not advocating what was said, but merely trying to clarify what Soph said.

I basically thought you attacked me because it was an upsetting time for you and I did not feel it was fair to enter into the craziness...that there was no 'fight to win'...and whilst you were quite upset about what was said, I in no way supported it, I was merely someone who tried to translate the intent of another poster.

If you feel that says something about me, as being weak, when in fact I was trying not to come into anything emotional and had no aggression towards you, then I can live with that. Absolutely.

Ignore is the word *you* used:

Quote
Odeon tried to call me out once, and I simply ignored it, he was being a wanker and I knew it was not going to resolve anything and just be a waste of time.

Quote
I basically thought you attacked me because it was an upsetting time for you and I did not feel it was fair to enter into the craziness...that there was no 'fight to win'...and whilst you were quite upset about what was said, I in no way supported it, I was merely someone who tried to translate the intent of another poster.

Actually the way you described it earlier in this thread says more:

Quote
Odeon tried to call me out once, and I simply ignored it, he was being a wanker and I knew it was not going to resolve anything and just be a waste of time.

The way I see this is that you never backed anything up but are now quite happy to refer to your ignoring a callout as successful tactics here on I2. You're happy to call me a wanker and explain how you just *knew* that the callout wouldn't solve anything, that it would be a waste of your time.

That's fucking weak, Eclair. Weak and cowardly, and hardly an example to pass on to someone new to callouts.

I don't think that he should have to ignore people who are attacking his children just because they are trying to get a rise out of him.

Just had a look at my callout. Interestingly I don't see Soph mentioned a single time, although I seem to remember that Soph came up elsewhere. Instead most of the callout centers on a discussion I still, to the best of my knowledge, have not seen but that Eclair assumes I must have. I did ask for a link but didn't get one.

She didn't entirely ignore the thread but as far as I can see, she never backed up any of her claims or insinuations. Methinks explaining this whole business of callouts to newcomers is best left to others.

My argument is very simple: if you ignore a callout, the fact that you did so will also tell things about you, like it or not.

If it tells that I ignored it because I actually had no desire to argue with you, that I thought you were being obtuse or overly emotional at the time and I generally like you and didn't have the inclination or energy to argue, I can live with that.

Personally, I think you have over-reacted to a sentence that I put in a response to bodie, and have become offended at the word 'wanker', when it probably wasn't as well thought out as you think, and certainly no reason for you to react the way you have.

I will revisit the callout, as I said, what I posted was my vague recollection of it, I couldn't find it, I thought it was in the past, and you never indicated that you were pissed off or had a grudge that it wasn't resolved.

I apologise if any of the above sentences or words offend you, I am trying to post a response to at least acknowledge the simplicity of what I said to bodie, I have genuinely no idea why you are so upset about it. But as I say will look at the callout and revisit why exactly I didn't pursue it, rather than just calling you a wanker.

Yes it is a joke played on everyone,  it was me not long ago.  The list off Sir_Les of 'who's who'  is just the opposite of what it says.  ie. the people who you were encouraged to call out first are the ones you do not want to pick a fight with.  Also Callaway is not forgetful,  TheoK is not a prude etc etc,  i think the only correct one is Odeon -  it is his site.

I think you have done extremely well so far, to keep posting,  it was just a 'mad' time when you arrived.  I am sure everyone wants you to hang around, you seem cool to me

Methinks explaining this whole business of callouts to newcomers is best left to others.

I was unaware that my opinion of callouts was not valid as a member, but thanks for the condescending remark. Thanks for clarifying. As I said, it was one sentence, and in a post to bodie about my OWN OPINION, which guess what, I'm entitled to. Most people would have laughted off a comment like that, given that it was a year ago. As I said, I was unaware that you had a grudge about that callout.

So my answer below is the best I can muster 12 months later about the situation.

OK, I have read back over the callout. Given it was nearly a year ago, I will surmise best why I think I ignored it.

1. At the time it seems that when all the drama about some comments about Odeon's child being a mongoloid upset him, and I think (I say I *think* because I can only go on the thread) that the member was banned.

2. I had been supporting some of Soph's posts, which were trying to point out that were in fact trying to point out that whilst what was said was bad, some other members had had their kids attacked, or similar situations, also and that banning someone was a little biased because he had the power to. (Again, this is my opinion and memory, and I don't want to bring Soph into it, but I recall that was my thoughts at the time)

3. My example of his bias was a callout where I had asked it to stop because it was distressing because it kept referring back to a child of mine that had passed away, and I perceived it as favouritism on his part.

The final post in the thread, he mentions the death of my child again. The reason I most likely (again, this is a year later) did not pursue the callout is;

1. Odeon was emotional about the issue anyway.
2. I did not want to get into a callout again, that kept referring to the death of my child, and to be honest, I believe that might be why I thought Odeon was being a wanker and insensitive for doing it.
3. Things with Callaway were in the process of resolution, or possibly even resolved privately without the knowledge of the board at that point and I really didn't want an autopsy on old rubbish brought up for shits and giggles because both areas were known as a way to bring up shit that had passed.

Again, refer to my final point Odeon, if you want to bring up stuff from the past, when I simply was giving a rundown to bodie, and not much thought went into it, then fine.

I'm sorry if it offended you that I said at the time there appeared to be two sets of rules, or something similar. That's how it seemed, as I say, in your final post in the thread, where you talk about my child, yet again, I must have thought enough was enough, and I did not want to rake it all up. Even seeing the words upset me. Maybe you don't understand how or why it hurts, and I'm glad that you don't, because if you did, you would not have kept on down that path.

So that's probably why the word 'wanker' came to mind about that callout.

I find Odeon to be very fair in callouts and I don't see him as a wanker at all.

I don't think that he should have to ignore people who are attacking his children just because they are trying to get a rise out of him.

I believe he started the callout because he was angry that I used my example of his bias towards only shutting some things down when they directly affected him, but he was quite happy to see others get distressed about attacks on their children.

I NEVER, EVER supported the attack on his children. It was just when others were trying to apply the fact that a lot of us had had to suffer that on the board, he didn't want to hear that logic.

I just had a peek as well and the callout was mostly about me:

People tend to bring up our stand off from time to time, not realising it was resolved privately and I have no desire to rehash any of it for everyone's pure entertainment. I wouldn't want to do that since privately we had resolved things and I thought it would be unfair to get involved in that kind of crap again.

I brought up as an example of inconsistency in Odeon's approach, to try and make him see logic as an example, nothing more, from memory.

So why am I being pushed to call people out????   :screwy:

I think that Sir Les' summary is meant to be tongue in cheek.  I thought that's how you were taking it when you said what you said about calling Hyke out because of what Sir Les said.

I was just pointing out what he actually said.  You don't have to call me or anyone else out unless you actually want to.

Indeed not. I've never called anyone out and probably never will, and if anyone called ME out I'd be like this:

:GA:

The smiley looks like it is floating on an invisible river.  :)

I dearly love the "move" option, I've just recently discovered its comedic potential!   :2thumbsup:

You're just being teased because you are new.

I sort of got that...to a point, but people kept mentioning it so I was wondering what I was doing wrong.   :autism:  People are strange.

I sure as hell am strange.

You are new. That is why you get teased. We used to be a lot more brutal with our noobs and now apart from this the occasional "show us your bits" is about as vicious as it gets.

Mind you we got a rise out of you so all is not lost :P

I got the same list in my introduction thread. Here's my response:

Let's see how long this n00b lasts...

If they follow my gentle guide they will do just great  :autism:

That was a nice list you gave me. I think I will follow it to the letter, get my head handed to me, and never show up again. On second thought, I'll just figure things out for myself.

All of this is why I try to be mostly nice because I would be unable to support any of my statements with any sanity or clarity.  If I got called out I would say, "Yes, you're right.  You win."  I'm a marshmallow.
Same here. I am afraid I won't be able to "back up" my statements.
