I warned here but she didn't listen ... so I tracked her IP, went round to her house with an electric chainsaw, and used it to kill her. The police were horrified at first, but after I explained that she wouldn't stop using the term "poo-poo head" in my forum, they were fine with it.
I don't like having to kill or otherwise physically abuse my users, but sometimes it's necessary.

I have to use the internet a lot, and I've grown to care a lot about quite a few members. Its easy to come here and see how people are getting on occasionally. When I see drama, I tend to check in more often, especially if I see my own name getting brought up.

There are many reasons why certain peopel and people in general do not post here. A big part of that is that we are a niche site in a subset upon a subset of a community. Forums by and large are very much affected from repurcussions like facebook, instagram, twitter, online applications and the like. This has really affected forums throughout the world and it will continue to impact forums.
People leave and go for different reasons and sometimes they come back and sometimes they don't.
But of course that aside this place is a lot more inactive than it has been in various times. Sometimes though it was active and a shitfest. Sometimes its particular activity forced members or made people simply not want to bother keeping posting.

I very much doubt it's possible for everyone on a forum to get along, but it's OK. It is as it should be. Nothing quite so boring as all those kumbaya sites where everyone is forced to be nice to one another.

Correct. It is also why she refuses to actually make any real point. The fact that we are a niche site with limited numbers to begin with, this site is not an every person site, and we are during a time where forums are not major drawers of traffic.
I think that's the key problem. The fact that it tends to only attract a certain subgroup of people to join and post. And the fact that most, if not all of us, share very similar views on various political and religious matters. Which doesn't make for a good place for intensely interesting debates.
