My age is approximately 1.5 times forty years, but I have never been a "consistently"  grumpy old cuss.

I have my dark days, but I am generally a very happy person and will make a joke instead of an insult where possible.
I am brave.

  My 40s have been a good decade.  When I was 40, I was officially dx'd as being on the spectrum,
  and I received my first computer (secondhand) and found teh intarwebz.  40 was a good year.  8)
